auto muting and setting a radio as priority over others

Is there a way to set radios (either through the aircraft, dcs, or srs) as priority. for example lets say i have 305.00 for common set on the 159 and 130.00 for A/A set on the 182.... chatter is actively coming through from other players on the 305.00 common(on the 159) and GCI keys up on 130.00 (on the 182) to call a bullseyes for enemy air... i cant here what he/she said because of the chatter on 305.00 common. So as the title says, is there a way though the either aircraft, DCS or SRS to set one of the radios as "priority" so that when it starts trans it auto mutes or cuts out the other radio?

thanks in advanced

There is no such functionality in aircraft radio.

A tip with SRS is that you can set each radio to either left or right ear. Fully or partially higher volume. That helps me a lot to have them in different ears.

This.

Different volume is an old, tried and testet trick when you're flying with two or more radios.

Get used to differentiate between the two (or more) by loudness, direction or whatever (depending on your setup) and make a mental picture of what the radio is.

That way, you can, to give one example, instantly know who/what talking. When sitting in your couch it sounds unnecessary, but might be a life saver if you're close to task saturation.

I used this throughout my career. Any one considering flying would be wise to pick up habits and routines such as these early.

You can also cheat a little arduino DCSbios Rx light rig. (Or Helios if you can grock its crazy programming)

Not as helpful when both radios are squaking, but some level of helpful.
