Well, this is shaping to be a fantastic year for DCS! The early release of the Kola map on 3rd of May, is thus only better.

No, till now no any range, however I suppose it will be between 39,9-49,9$, not more in EA period.

I hope they asked some youtubers to make some kind of preview video. I wanna know a bit what it looks like down low or up high, not just screenshots.

Not planned as I know, but maybe some of from beta team will do something if they will be released from NDA. Guys, its a less than one week only, some video will be created after release Im sure. Honestly Im more interested of user reviews. Generally, it's good that we will get the product immediately without having to pre-order for several months so you can buy the map after release and after reviews, not marketing materials only :).

There seems little to no fanfare about a map like this dropping on the 3rd May, is it really, I mean why is the DCS hype train not running, its hard to find any info at all about the release of this map.

I find that rather refreshing; maybe for once they'll let a product stand on it's own rather than push the marketing buzz to the point where it's louder than the swarms of mosquitoes in this part of the world.

Of course...Orbx.  The bar is already high.  They are to maps what Heatblur is to aircraft; like it, don't like it, the quality is spectacular.  I expect this to be my default mission map at least until we get central Europe.  Just need a few extra cannon shells to shoot down the mosquitoes, or at least punch a big enough hole in the swarm to fly through...

Orbx hasn't done DCS before (as seen by their correct every day usage of soon. Instead of DCS soon™ 

Also they don't understand that DCS runs on fancy trailers.

Don't worry, they'll learn. Next map will be out soon™ as in 3 years from now and they'll post plenty of teasers. But they'll work at snail's pace.
