Non sono minimamente interessato, visto che i 3 moduli FC nuovi li posseggo già tutti nella loro versione full-fidelity; peraltro da quando volo full-fidelity flaming cliffs non l'ho proprio più toccato. Però se metteranno l'aggiornamento per chi già possiede fc3 a 10 euro come hanno fatto per a-10 e ka-50 lo comprerò lo stesso, perché voglio supportare l'idea dei mini upgrade a pagamento: tanti moduli vecchi ne beneficerebbero: uh-1, mi-8, l-39 giusto per citarne alcuni.

Visto il periodo, anche se sono nella tua stessa situazione, farò altrettanto.

Devo dire che da anni aspettavo che finalmente le uscite di nuovi moduli fossero non dico a cadenza mensile ma almeno trimestrale ed ora che sembra che stia succedendo, ne sono un po’ spaventato. Sembra che la ED debba fare cassa per sopravvivere e visto la congiuntura politico/economica del periodo non ci sarebbe da stupirsi.

Mi auguro tanto che siano solo mie impressioni o che comunque se ne esca, ED nell’attuale panorama dei SIM è troppo importante per l’intero settore, non credo che in sua assenza Virpil, Wingwin,  VKB, Total Control avrebbero potuto presentare l’offerta di prodotti che ora hanno a catalogo.

vogliono forse allargare la platea. per quanto mi riguarda un'occasione persa per rivedere un po' l'f-5 e le sue stranezze, dall'adi al rwr.

In realtà quello che ad oggi vediamo proposto come FC2024 altro non è che il risultato di un mancato lancio del MAC a mio avviso, e anziché lasciar cadere in nulla di fatto il lavoro di mesi fatto (perchè si anche se non si è visto molto), hanno probabilmente deciso di riciclare parte del lavoro facendo convergere nel FC 2024.

Credo quindi esuli le recenti diatribe politico/economiche con anche la terza parte di cui tutti ora sappiamo.

Sì questo lo penso anch'io. Evidentemente devono aver capito che un intero simulatore separato, più adatto per giocatori alle prime armi, sarebbe stato uno sforzo troppo grosso rispetto al risultato atteso, considerati anche i tanti moduli full-fidelity in corso e/o presentati (ch-47, mig-29) molto attesi dalla community. Sicuramente coi full-fidelity guadagnano di più e il grosso della community (me compreso) è quelli che vuole, tuttavia un lavoro l'avevano iniziato quindi perchè buttare tutto alle ortiche? Flaming cliffs 2024 è un'ottima soluzione che salva capra e cavoli. Tra l'altro, se non sbaglio, in MAC avrebbe dovuto esserci anche un Mig-21, ma visto come stanno messi gli sviluppatori del medesimo (eoni per un ww2 e siamo ancora ai piedi di ponzio pilato, senza contare il promesso upgrade del mig-21 full-fidelity, che tanto ne avrebbe bisogno) non è difficile immaginare che tempo da dedicare anche ad un mig-21 semplificato non ce ne fosse proprio.

Meglio così alla fine, un ulteriore gioco da parte di ED avrebbe rallentato ancora di più il già lentissimo sviluppo di DCS

Ottima notizia per i novizi, ma per quel che mi riguarda possiedo gia F-5E e F-86 FF quindi non sono interessato.

Beh, io in FF ho anche il mig-15 oltre a sabre ed f-5, e probabilmente i moduli semplificati non li userò nemmeno; però 10 euro per dire che gradisco gli aggiornamenti dei moduli vecchi, anche a pagamento, li spendo più volentieri che per un apache largamente incompleto che sarà finito tra 6 anni.

Flaming Cliffs (FC) 2024 will expand the series with the inclusion of three new aircraft: the FC: F-5E, FC: F-86F, and FC: MiG-15bis. These aircraft are designed to be less complex and easier-to-learn, making them ideal for players who prefer a more straightforward flight simulation experience. The new models come with DCS Professional Flight Models that ensure a high level of realism.

The F-5E is equally capable of air combat and unguided-ground strikes. Its arsenal includes infrared-guided ‘Sidewinder’ missiles and two cannons for close-in air combat. It is also equipped with a radar that can detect targets beyond visual range. For ground attack, the F-5E carries a large array of unguided bombs and rockets.

The F-86F is a legendary fighter of the Korean War era. It is a very capable dogfighter armed with 50 calibre machine guns and early infrared-guided air-to-air missiles. In skillful hands, it was more than a match against other aircraft of the era and a fierce rival to the MiG-15. The F-86F can also be armed with unguided bombs and rockets for ground attack.

The MiG-15bis was a revolutionary fighter when introduced during the Korean War and outmatched anything in the skies until the arrival of the F-86. It was a small and light fighter but very rugged and tough. Loved by all its pilots it is an outstanding dogfighter when flown to its strengths. It’s armed with both two 23mm guns and a single 37mm cannon that can inflict severe damage.

questa non l'ho capita. questo "upgrade" è solo per avere mig15, f86 ed f5 o significa che il precedente fc3 è una sorta di "legacy" ?

Da quanto si legge è solo un upgrade per includere i tre nuovi aeroplani, non ho letto (almeno io non ho visto niente al riguardo..) di rivisitazione di quelli esistenti...

Del resto questo passaggio mi pare molto indicativo per questo discorso:

Io non sono interessato non avendo FC3 mentre ho l'F-5 e l' F-86 in versione Full Fidelity, però per chi lo ha già investire meno di 10€ per l'upgrade potrebbe avere un senso...

Come è capitato a me...anche a qualcun altro è sparito FC3 dal proprio account. Non mi porta più di tanto perchè non lo uso...ma è giusto capire cosa sia successo.

Apparentemente un bug.
