Sumopaint??

I want to produce my own mods, but the cost of photoshop is massive. My intended projects and casual usage won't be worthwhile to pay the monthly creative cloud/PS subscription.

There are the usual cheap keys sites out there, but they look too dodgy to me.

So is anyone using sumopaint to mod planes with?

If yes, is it any good?

Cheers

Paint.net - its free and very good if a little basic.

I have been using PhotoImpact10 for many years, very limited in size of texture files you can work on but it has everything and its very user friendly

Gimp - as Morpheus suggest - excellent, and also free versions available.

Quixel mixer is a great free alternative to Sub painter

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Hi.

Nowadays I try to use Inkscape for vector editing as preparing SVG materials will be pasted in GIMP.
Inkscape is an alternative to Adobe Illustrator.

I felt that GIMP's path editing function is poor and uncomfortable.
Collaborating with Inkscape brings me good results in preparing insignias / flags / geometric patterns or tweaking fonts' styles.
