Nothing like a delayed module to bring the best out in people.

One learns a lot about a person’s character when they are under duress, but this? It is a trivial annoyance at most. I get the sense that a lot of these people struggle to deal with the ebb and flow of normal life. There certainly is a lack of perspective.

This whole disaster was created by Heatblur.  No one ever asked him to declare a release date.  As they say where I come from, they sing it and play it.  This is also a serious damage for other software houses as well as for pre-purchases in general.

It's a simple question of principle and respect for the customer, philosophy has nothing to do with it, if you don't want to understand or even worse if you pretend not to understand, it's better to move on.

Nonsense. It’s not a “disaster”. Only someone very young or very immature, living vicariously staring at screens all day would say something like that, especially after ED has taken responsibility for it.

It’s not “normal” behavior to melt down over entertainment, which comes from a strange groupthink dynamic that feeds on itself. The longer you subscribe to it, the more miserable you will be.

I was hoping that heatblur was going to revive this game for me after the failed launch of the apache but this just adds to my list of companies to not buy modules from again in dcs. Heatblur was once a beloved company now they can't figure out how to do last minute checks before they announce a release date

I'm still waiting on my "I always win patch".

Well I don't need it , it seems 😉

Again it is a DCS issue as BigNewy stated

In the end you buy it after all.🤷‍♂️

Don't count on that. As someone who's been here since the beginning I see fewer people today then I did before. I also have many buddies who literally do not touch this sim at all anymore. The servers are a stalemate, we want people to keep buying but ED does need to update this game asap! Needs core updates, infantry, vehicles ,dynamic, tons of stuff. I used to argue like many here how great dcs is, but I just don't anymore because people have a right to be upset when they pay for things.

Truth is stop with the preorder stuff, no one would really have a right to complain. They still might get mad but like many said it's a game, yet when you give a company money weeks... Sorry months in advance, people SHOULD get upset!!

This is not Heatblur as stated by both HB and ED, and even if it was HB. They are literally making the most complex aircraft simulation in the history of aircraft simulations. You've decided to withdraw the "title" beloved over a 1 day delay?

YAAAAASSSS!!!! We are an unforgiving fan base. HB and ED are the source of all our problems. I'm even sure they have something to do with my clogged kitchen sink. Looking into it. LOL Too be honest it's just a game so no worries.

You would be effectively punishing the wrong company for something outside of their control, but it's your money...so do what you want.
