Totally new to DCS. Can someone PM me on how to get TB Velocity One Flight stick to be seen?  Can't seem to configure it let alone have DCS even acknowledge it...... is there some file I can copy and insert with all settings?  This is a bit overwhelming and I'm grounded right now!  Thanks in advance!

Is it seen in windows, have you followed the install process?

Is the stick directly connected to your PC or are you using a USB hub?

Have you tried different USB ports (2.0 vs 3.x)?

@Brigand Run the joy.cpl utility, and see if it detects your joystick. If it does not, DCS won't either. This should speed up the diagnosis.

Thanks all.  Think the stick is actually AFU. It worked for a bit, shuts off mid-flight etc.  Think I need to invest in new HOTAS..  good starter set the Thrustmaster - T16000M F?  Thanks again

You guys are awesome!  Thanks for saving me some $$ and headaches.  Gladiator EVO and Thrustmaster TWCS have been ordered!  Thanks a million for the suggestions.  Looking for forward to getting up in the air with you guys! Any cheat sheets on recommended settings for buttons on stick and throttle?
