Eloxbenni Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 (edited) Hi guys, I pre-ordered the F4 several months ago. A few hours ago I was still able to play the F4. Now I get this message when I start the game The F4 is gone and I can't play it anymore Edited May 26, 2024 by Eloxbenni
Flappie Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 This may be caused by your antivirus. If you want to know, add your DCS main installation folder as an exception to your antivirus. ---
Tom Kazansky Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 had the same two days ago and can confirm what Flappie said: 1
MAXsenna Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 I have excluded the DCS core folders, (among other games), and my Saved Games folder from my AV solution, (Windows Defender). Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Nialfb Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Hi Guys I've got the same issue but I'm not particualrly computer literate when it comes to the likes of firewalls etc. How do I add an exclusion in Norton 360? Thanks Game setup - I9-13900K, 3000 MHz 24 Core 32 Logical Processors, NVIDIA RTX 4090, 42” ASUS 4K OLED monitor, TM HOTAS Warthog, TM TPR Rudder pedals, Bigscreen Beyond VR.
Nialfb Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Okay, after some searching I think I figured out how to add an exclusion to Norton 360 Anti Virus, but I still have the problem. The 'Real Time Exclusionb' probbaly has more entries than I need, but I was doing the belt and braces thing. This is where I found the info on how to do it ...
