F4 Authorization failed

Hi guys,

 

 

I pre-ordered the F4 several months ago. A few hours ago I was still able to play the F4. Now I get this message when I start the game 

The F4 is gone and I can't play it anymore

This may be caused by your antivirus. If you want to know, add your DCS main installation folder as an exception to your antivirus.

had the same two days ago and can confirm what Flappie said:

I have excluded the DCS core folders, (among other games), and my Saved Games folder from my AV solution, (Windows Defender).

I've got the same issue but I'm not particualrly computer literate when it comes to the likes of firewalls etc. How do I add an exclusion in Norton 360?

Okay, after some searching I think I figured out how to add an exclusion to Norton 360 Anti Virus, but I still have the problem. The 'Real Time Exclusionb' probbaly has more entries than I need, but I was doing the belt and braces thing.

This is where I found the info on how to do it ...

If Norton quarantined/removed any files. You need to get them back. A repair is easiest.
