I know I know, it's not a simulation, but I just checked out the Zero Punctuation review of it and felt very happy in my pants, so enjoy:

He pretty much nailed it spot on. Then again, HAWX is supposed to be brainless fun, and in that it likely succeeds.

150 rubles (or even 80) for DVD in some booths with games, music and software. Russia is a strange country. But tell no one!

 

P.S. Today even 60 rubles under 'Sale!' sign.

Just a shame that the airfare to get over there (and the VISA applications) cost enough to make you have to buy a rediculous amount of games for it to be practical. :P

 

I did end up buying some regular memorabilia and music when I worked in Russia, though. Best thing with Russia is the food though - extremely cheap by western standards, but oh my god it's good stuff! :D

For a guy, who never flies flight simulators, he pretty much nailed HAWX.

 

As for extremely cheap games they sell in booths, the games I've come across while venturing in Russia have all been extremely well-made pirate copies. You can't tell by looking at the DVD boxart nor the dvd itself (both covered with professional looking custom artwork), only hint is a suspicious looking installer which requires no serial key and the insanely cheap price of course.
