Needing force trim keystroke and release force trim keystroke.  Binding them to a Thrustmaster joystick.  I actually have release trim set but not the invoke force trim but so far force trim is not working..  Now my center console force trim switch is set to active position. Special cyclic trim position is set to fade in/fade out.  I just need to invoke force trim at the right moment with what keystroke?  Please advise. thankyou!

You probably confused to different things.

One is the actual force trim switch (present in the real Aircraft) that can turn off or on the re-centering force in the real Aircraft (of for Force Feedback Users).

The other is what you need. The option to set a new virtual center position for your spring loaded joystick.

In the bindings:
"Force Trim - Interrupt" is the one that ‘invokes’ and sets the virtual stick where you want it, ie. trim
"Trimmer Reset" is the one that undoes the trim

Force trim only works on the anti torque pedals and not the stick for me. Im trying the first flight tutorial and in the briefing it says Force Trim [T] keyboard key centers the stick. This key command doesnt exist in the button mapping screen like it does in the other helicopters, so what am I missing? I have these in fade in/out in the options and force feedback off.

Seems they forgot to add "T" to the binding under keyboard in the controls setup for both pilot and CPG. So if you press "T" on your keyboard to do a Force Trim, nothing will happen. But if you bind it to your stick, it will work. Or, simply add "T" in the box where its missing in the keyboard column (controls setup) - double click that box and key in "T".

But my problem is that the only thing I can find for trimming is the force trim interrupt button and the only thing it does for me is trim the anti torque pedals to my current foot position. Nothing happens with the stick, I have to keep hands on the whole time. Guess I should have been more clearer, but thats hard to do when one doesnt know what to look for. Theres no force trim key binding in the OH58. Heres a track, and I see it working in the controls indicator, but my stick has to be held the entire time. I can release my pedals and retain my orientation, but the moment I release the stick I start to roll right.

oh yes, I have those buttons mapped. As I said, the controls indicator shows it centering over the new position but the moment I release the stick it heads straight back to its untrimmed position. You can probably see it in the track above. It might be because its in fade in/out. I can try and revert it back to return to center for it to work since thats what I use in all of the other helicopters and report back.
