investigating Why So many (152) Errors in the log on a fresh install??

I was trying to troubleshoot a problem, and so I installed a brand new DCS World install and a new DCS in SavedGames folder.   But I'm still getting over 150 errors in the log, which makes it much harder to track down an issue.  

What are all of these errors??? 

Especially, the 110 'negative drag of payload' errors?

That was the core installation, and it did not make sense. And the following was not your case.

his installation is either corrupted OR the mods he left when he copied over his saved games folder (open knee board) is causing it to crash

My Saved Games folder was from the Fresh Install.  I had added my old Scripts folder, as well and config/input.   I have shut down VoiceAttach, VAICOM, including OpenKneeboard.  And I removed the OpenKneeboard files from the Saved Games\DCS\Scripts/Hooks folder.  I also shutdown Process Lasso.

I did not install the SA342 to the fresh install, but that error is in the Bazar folder, so it for just the AI, right?  Still, an error..

This time the log had 172 errors.  Probably because I was on a different map and aircraft.

Also, before I made the OP, I had done a full repair on this new install, and looked for all extra files, and removed them.

my own dcs.log file is littered with lots errors as well, but it runs  and does not crash

when it crashes do you get an crash report being generated ?

There have never been *any* reports of Openkneeboard’s lua *ever* causing a DCS crash. If the rest of openkneeboard isn’t installed, it deals with that fine.
 

if you’re aware of any with evidence beyond “oh there’s a mod in the log, must be that”, please report it and I’ll be happy to investigate.

I would like to have an error and warning "free" dcs.log, too.

I have the expirience to decide if it is a "normal" ED/ThirdParty error/warning, which comes "normally" or something new.

But for most new people this is not possible and troubleshooting is a pain.

It is not possible to avoid all warnings. But the dcs.log should be cleaned of all these "normal" warning/errors as much as possible.
