reported earlier Windscreen wipers have no effect on precipitation

Just messing around in various instant action scenarios. On Weapons Range; Marianas default weather is poor (rain/sleet) taking off from a ship. I activated the wipers and they did nothing to the rain on the windscreen. Not sure if this is a bug/not implemented or a well modelled feature!

Sorry to say it has been this way for years now. Its on a list of reported fixes for some day.

Been on a list for years now? Perhaps it's about fricken time it got fixed!! WTAF!
Seriously, how can they leave such an egregious bug present as if they don't care.
"Oh, just turn off the rain. It's fine."
No. No it's not "just fine." Why is the rain even there then if we're just to not enable it?
The things ED totally blows off gets more and more and more frustrating and even infuriating.

For now I just turn on the windshield wipers as if they work and play make believe as if it's 1994 computer gaming or something.

Well...we've been waiting on actual work of ANYTHING on the UH1H since the P51 got a reworked flight model, damage model, cockpit and airframe remodel/retexture...you know, considering it was the 4th module released by ED and all the other ones got some love too. Guess teh 'p'ache is too cool now. Yeah it got an engine overhaul a while ago, but an engine is just an engine.

@BIGNEWY The new rain effects are great, except for the Huey. Is there a recommendation how to handle that since the wipers are not helping? Thank you
