Hello, Heatblur,

I have some requests for the Eurofighter.  Please add the towed decoy feature.  This option would be unique to the fighter and give us lots of enjoyment.  Additionally, please givethe Eurofighter with the ability to fire anti-ship missiles.

It can carry the Italian Marte ER as well as things like the spear 3 and agm88 which would both work against any remotely modern warship. The Joint Strike Missile from Kongsberg Defence is also planned

I would not expect any integration of a A2G weapon that has not been in active service for the last at least 5-8 Years.

This does not include weapons that are planned to be integrated in the platform but today are still not there. How would HB get information on the Man/machine interface and use flows (things like MFD, symbology,etc...) if the weapon is not even yet on the plane?

I'm just happy if we receive additional weapons to that of the German version (like ASRAAM and Brimstones).

I’d like this skin please.

Yeah 😄 something like that.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain the RAF had a Typhoon painted in the livery of Hurricane Pilot Flt Lt James Nicolson VC. He was the only one in the RAF to receive the VC during the battle.

https://www.bbm.org.uk/airmen/NicolsonJB.htm

I saw the Typhoon and Spitfire duo display in a few places that year. The Spit was flat out, Typhoon had to drag itself by for them to stay together but it was a lovely touch and looked gorgeous. Last time I saw a Typhoon it was done up in a D-Day commemorative livery. Think we’d better have that too really. 🙂

The Marte ER *will* be used on the EUFI and since truegrit have said themselves they are not being all snobnosed about their exact designation and will pick and choose from the different tranches and mks as to what they feel makes sense for their version of the EUFI within the DCS world then it is very much within the realms of reality that they would at the very least consider the Marte ER.

As for the AGM-88E and the spear it is again agiven in time that they will became common place on the platform and will end up in the hands of truegrit and heatblur on whether they think that the anti radiation weapons belong on their version of the EUFI

This module is not the same as other modules where you can simply state that it is or isn't available on a given tranche and mk number because truegrit have said they are approaching it from a more fluid angle

I hope this clears things up for you on the necessity of whether things are currently in service, being tested or planned in regards to potential weapons on this module that we haven't had any details on for around 3 years

Regards,

ASRAAM is already a given. There are interviews with the project lead from 3 years ago stating as such. Brimstones are agiven since they have been fielded with the EUFI for quite some time. The ASRAAM is in use with the RAF and the IRIS-T with the Germans. They said in this interview I mentioned that they are not going to restrict it to one nation's weapons. I would imagine this is because that is just short sighted and frankly imposing unfounded and silly limitations, especially when it will most likely ship with liveries for Italy and the RAF at launch

I’m happy getting ASRAAM and AIM-9L/Li

I suppose that does make sense given that Eurofighter has seen its systems evolve in manners few other airframes experience.

That, and access.

Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

That's AARGM, not AGM88 as far as I am informed. Of course it's all subject to change the EK software is not even in production yet.

ASRAAM is far from a given. Every time they spoke about developing the missiles for the game it has been IRIS-T and Meteor. Not one mention of ASRAAM directly.

It would be cool, and they haven't explicitely said they will never do it, but don't expect it as a 100% confirmed item. I think it's as likely as PIRATE, maybe less because of extra CFD work.
