Tusky Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Hi all! Just wondering if the RAIN switch on the right panel is working. It doesn't look so... Can anybody confirm? Thank you!

Weasel Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 As the weather system in DCS will be completly overhauled, this switch will may get a function at a later point? 1

I hope so. Currently, landing on a carrier with rain on your windscreen is a bit "challenging"... 2
Razor18 Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Never tried, but I assume the raindrops appear just as if the aircraft would be stationary on the deck, insted of flying around 140 kts, where the raindrops should be in fact blown back by the wind immediately?...
Weasel Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 What is the function of this switch in reality? 1

Yeah, kind of. The windscreen is blurred by raindrops and you do not have a clear view through it. hace 9 horas, Weasel dijo: What is the function of this switch in reality? It blows heated low pressure air on the windscreen to keep it clear from raindrops. 5
