DCS: Heatblur MiG-21PFM

Would be a perfect adversary for the F-4.

The Mig-17 and F-100 are on the way so a period-specific Mig-21 makes perfect sense for the emerging Vietnam plane-set.

PFM would me much better, it is THE Mig-21.

It flew in almost every war including vietnam and it's a bit more versitile then the PF.

Imho new aircraft is always better choice for DCS than a new variant of the one we already have, unless it's major change of airframe (like F/A-18C vs E) or role (F-15C vs E).

Wouldn't you like MiG-23 or Su-17/22 more?

I'm not very interested in the PFM, but if HB could take on the MiG-21s and create different variants like they do with the F-14 and the F-4, I'd be on board.

I'm craving for a MiG-21MF though. But let's be realistic: They have the early Iranian F-14, the F-4 variants, the Eurofighter, the Intruder, and possibly the Draken on their plate. I wouldn't get too hopeful about HB adopting this idea within the next ten years.

I, for example, already have the Mig-21bis (which I hardly ever fly). So I wouldn't buy another variant of the Mig-21. There are enough other alternatives that are not yet represented in any variant in DCS.
But that may also be because I generally have little to no interest in Soviet/Russian fighters.

We already have a decaying corpse. It needs major overhaul (FM, cockpit textures, VR compatibility), but I don't see any news on it.

I would buy the mig 21 again if it was done by another developer I like the jet find it interesting but looking at HB they are very busy.
