saburo_cz Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) Hello, i tray to fire rockets in pairs but a can fire only 4 or 6 from 6 or 10 and can not fire rest of them. If i take 6 rockets, i start fire with no.5, set on Rocket Counter, and fire no.5 and no.6. Then i set no.3 and fire no.3 and no.4. Then i set no.1 and i can not fire anything, in any way. Last two rockets remain under wings and no go any way. If i take 10 rockets, start fire with no.9 and fire 9 and 10, then set no.7 and fire 7 and 8, then set no.5 and fire 5 and 6, then even i set everything i can not fire any remains rockets. if i fire rockets no.7,8,9 and 10, by settings no.7, then no.3,4,5,6, by settings no.3, i can not fire rockets no.1 and 2 if i fire rockets no. 7,8,9,10, than no. 5 and 6, then no chance fire rest of them, no.3... Rockets Release Control Switch is set to AUTO. If it set to SINGLE, no problem is here and i cant fire any rocket when i want. Or is here any restriction on firing sequence? Thanks EDIT i forgot add this, it is the same for DCS 1.5 and DCS 2.0 Edited April 20, 2016 by saburo_cz F6F P-51D | P-47D | F4U-1D | Mosquito FB Mk VI | Spitfire | Fw 190D | Fw 190A | Bf 109K | WWII Assets Pack Normandy 2 | The Channel | Sinai | Syria | PG | NTTR | South Atlantic F-4E | F-14A/B | F/A-18 | F-86 | F-16C | A-10C | FC-3 | CA | SC |

ED Team NineLine Posted February 6 ED Team Posted February 6 @too-coolI looked through your old posts and did not see the report you mentioned from 4 years ago, you did not describe what the bug is with rockets so please describe the bug or link the old report. I do not see this report on our internal system or on the forums from you. Thanks. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
saburo_cz Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 @NineLine It is this post : It is about fire rockets in order via manual Rocket counter. You can do it twice, third setting then will not fire any rockets remain on plane. System gets stuck forever. ED Team NineLine Posted February 6 ED Team Posted February 6 According to our manual and real manuals, you have two choices in firing the rockets. In singles and in Salvo. To fire rockets, perform the following steps: Turn the Rocket Counter dial to 1. Set the Bomb-Rocket Selector switch to ROCKETS. To nose-arm the rockets for delay upon impact, set the delay switch to DELAY. To fire rockets singly, set the Rocket Release Control switch to SINGLE and press the Bomb-Rocket Release button on the control stick once for each rocket. To fire all rockets in train (ripple), set the Rocket Release Control switch to AUTO and hold the Bomb-Rocket Release button depressed for approximately one second while the rockets are fired. I have not seen any reference to setting the counter to any other number than 1. Following the proper procedures in the manual, I do not see an issue here. If you have other references, I am happy to take a look, thanks! 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

TC Please read what I said though, I see no indication that you are supposed to pick anything but 1 on the rocket counter, they are set to come off in a specific order, there is no reason to change that, that I can see. As I said though, maybe you guys have another document stating that the pilot can pick and choose what rocket to shot and why? ED Team NineLine Posted February 7 ED Team Posted February 7 In the real manual: It suggests it needs to be reset at the end of the mission, and is called a counter in the manual. So it is not a selector at all and should not be used as such. 1 Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

Then why is possible to do such step twice and after that it will get stuck? This was the question.. I don't know, but nowhere does it tell you to do that. And it seems you can do the same thing in the real thing and mess up the rockets as you are required to make sure its reset to 1.
