need track replay DSMS shows no weapons only empty red boxes

  I have read a few threads on this problem and none of them address my issue. 

For years now I have used the ME to load out weapons for the A10- A10II. I just select from the loadout page and when I get into the mission, the loadout appears in the DSMS. What has changed? It's never been a problem. Now, for the past year or so, I cannot get any weapons to appear in the DSMS at all. No matter what I do. 

 The reason I have been dealing with this for a year is that I have become so discouraged with DCS and all of it's issues that I just give up on trying and hope that they fix this stuff. I try from time to time but....it's business as usual.

 I read threads about miz. files. I tried to delete the right files. But maybe I'm doing something wrong because I cannot find Miz. files. I am looking in "saved games". All I see there is the mission file name in white. There is no file. Only a white icon of a piece of paper (not a file) and the name of the mission. When I try to open it, I get asked what to open it with and nothing opens it. It's not zipped. It's not a file so far as I can see. 

 I tried to delete mission files from old versions of the game as I read in another thread. I have tried everything.  But the bottom line here is that I have been with DCS from day one. This whole file deleting ? moving / changing thing was never anything that I had to bother with. All I am doing is loading a simple mission with an aircraft that should have weapons on board. The mission is literally that simple. 

 I have also found that people are saying that you load manually within the mission. 

 Could someone please tell me how to fix this? I remember it being an issue some time ago within the community. At that time it was an issue on DCS's side. It was supposedly fixed.  But I removed EVERYTHING DCS from my system and reloaded so it's not left over from then.

Nothing has changed as far as I know. If you spawn on a plane with the weapons already loaded, the DSMS should already be loaded aswell.

And you have already tried doing a manual DSMS load? Do you have any mods installed? Ran a repair? Can you attach a short track where it is happening?

Are you 100% sure? The mission file with the correct name, what type of file is it when you hover your mouse over it?

.miz files can be opened with winrar for example. Do you have it or a similar software?

Could you upload your mission?

That's usually only required for when you change the loadout on ground (not sure if also for a cold start but I would say so too).

Thanks for the response. You actually helped me on this. I went up and started researching Miz. files and how to access them. And yes, I have to download software to do this. I will try and work it out this way. But I'm a bit miffed at ED. No other sim, game, or software that I have requires this of me. At this point I am assuming the role of a developer and in my mind, If I have to do developer's tasks in DCS, I should get a say in the development. Obviously ED can't or doesn't seem to care. I shouldn't have to do this nonsense. This is why I rarely fly DCS any more.

I can only reiterate what razo+r already said - nothing has changed in the DCS A-10C and A-10C II modules in this regard. If what you do now doesn't work, I'm pretty sure it didn't work 10 years ago either.

So... do I understand correctly that you don't know how to explore and manipulate the file system on your computer? Deleting mission files won't fix issues inside of a mission in DCS, and your description is a bit vague.

The red boxes in DSMS that the thread title alludes to, that's an ages old issue that can happen to DCS missions on very rare occasions for (mostly) unknown reasons. When it happens, manipulating the content of a DCS mission file can solve the issue. We can go into some detail later on, but first let's figure out whether this is even the case here. I've seen this issue on a handful of DCS missions over 10+ years, and never had it happen to a mission I created myself. I doubt all your files and missions are affected by this particular problem.

Please share an affected mission with us. If at all possible, please also create a short track showing the problem and share that with us as well.

Like stated here, there have been no recent changes to weapon loadout loading to DSMS and associated logics. 

Like @Yurgonstated, a miz file and/or a track file of this situation would be the best way to help you.
