I deleted the directory of that newer version and copied the one from my backup back. I could zip those files and send them for you? Just let me know what you want. Jyge Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I just noted that I can not even use my Printer (Wifi connection) as a scanner with NordVPN running...funny enough it prints though. Now I start seriously consider options to switching to another VPN software, this sucks, it starts getting too invasive to my liking. I was going through the settings and there is something called trusted network, I would like to try to define my home network as trusted, maybe that would solve something... No idea where to do that ... maybe in windows settings. I hate this sh!t

Change the app to DCS.exe under bin and mt-bin\ : On the NORD Client app. Go to Settings>Split Tunneling>Toggle Split tunneling to ON>Select apps>*Then add the file explorer.exe to the list of apps/apps you want to stay connected on the LAN when VPN in on. Poor DCS support has copped it from me - I've been reinstalling drivers, BIOS updates, etc etc. Decided to pause NordVPN and it works. Absolutely the most frustrated I've ever been with DCS (noting it's not DCS' fault). If there's no easy work around with NordVPN I'm going to switch to another VPN provider. Edited March 27 by Wizz 1
GeoS72 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I've been in a dialog with several members (11 so far) of the NordVPN customer service department. Right now, they recommend disabling the VPN when playing DCS. After dealing with this issue for the past 2 months and providing information along the way, these responses sum up their approach. I bold faced the important part: "Unfortunately, we are experiencing issues with gaming and VOIP services at the moment, which in return cause issues with the services you are trying to access. " "While we are actively working on this, providing a definitive update within the next few months is not realistic given the complexity of the problem." For NordVPN customers & DCS Players, I would encourage you to submit a ticket. The more people to complain about the problem may help escalate the timeline for a solution. Follow the squeaky wheel gets the grease approach. See my screenshot below to easily report the issue. Please be respectful and do expect to be frustrated with their generic "we're currently working on the issue" replies and the number of different people with whom you will dialog. 2
