DonLuicia Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) That would be very good. Please implement as far and as well as possible. That would be something for the wishlist. Edited March 19 by DonLuicia 1
Dragon1-1 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 None of our aircraft are LORAN capable, though. I think it was mostly a thing on bombers.
Yannick Pancake Posted March 20 Posted March 20 If I'm correct the DMAS F-4E will get the Loran 2 Yannick "Pancake" CO VF-14 - vCVW Two PILOT [pahy-luh t] - noun 1. A person who does precision gueswork based on unreliable data provided by those of questionable knowledge. See also: wizard, magican
Tarres Posted March 22 Posted March 22 @MAESTR0 in the map preview, east Germany bases (and other eastern bloc countries bases) are depicted with ILS systems (white arrows with ILS frequencies, some out of frequency range) instead of PRMG systems (blue arrows with upper UHF frequencies). I assume the same for TACAN instead of RSBN. Example: Damgarten depicts an ILS system (124.10 mhz, outside of the ILS range) instead of a RSBN/PRMG system. RSBN and PRMG are coded and operational in the core system of DCS from Blackshark 1.0 (before DCS world) and are full operational in the L-39 module (and I hope in the future MiG-29A 9.12) I´m a bit concerned about this. Syria doesn´t have any RSBN or PRMG stations, even there was in use for the Syrian Air Force (a pair of systems was bought in the 60/70s to operate with Soviet airplanes) Thanks in advance. null 6 1
portman Posted April 6 Posted April 6 In addition to the links above, I'm attaching two lists with airport data of East German and some Polish airfields. Maybe it can help the developers to "do it right" Source: LSK/LV 5 1 Mancher zum Meister sich erklärt, dem nie das Handwerk ward gelehrt!
Tarres Posted April 6 Posted April 6 @NineLine or @BIGNEWY, Sorry, but what’s the point moving this thread to the “DCS core wish list”? RSBN and PRMG systems are functional in the DCS core AFAIK. (Caucasus map and L39, Kursant campaign) Maybe moving it to the “DCS Germany wish list” it’s more appropriate. Thanks in advance. 4
