Improved smoke from stacks

Smoke/dust improvement for bombs/explosions has been requested before, but I'd like to add this one to the list:

 

Please improve on the "smoke system" for industrial locations. 

Looking at Ugra's latest (awesome) Fulda Gap teaser shots, there currently seems to be just one default smoke "puff" for all chimneys/stacks.

 

Especially the cooling towers need something like this:

Depending on the atmosphere/weather, these things can cause actual proper clouds (masking potential targets)

Yeah, I'd also add much more lenght/height to all smokes. It could be an option instead of the current "chimney smoke density" but we're long over the times where it seriously affects performance.

There's ab older ww2 sim that has fantastic smoke. If a ship gets hit badly the smoke rises thousands upon thousands of feet. And last forever. Same if you hit oil storage tanks. Huuuge boom and lots of fire and smoke.
