After the recent updates and moving my Dedicated Server install to a different SSD because of storage space issues, three of my maps are now not authorized on the dedicated server:

-Afghanistan
-Sinai
-Kola

These were working fine prior to the update, and they are still installed in the server's Terrain file structure.

DCS repair does not resolve the issue. Terrains work fine on my main client install. No antivirus issues. No symbolic links or anything on the server except for liveries.

Using DCS_updater.exe command to uninstall the terrains and reinstall them does not resolve. Terrains are still "unauthorized" on the dedicated server install.

I've seen a few posts regarding dedicated servers lately. You're not using symbolic links by chance?

Never mind.

But you have all paths excluded in AV?

Windows default AV is disabled except for quick scans. Not running any 3rd party AV at all.

I have confirmed this is an issue with the 8394 update. When I roll back to 8222 it works fine. @NineLine @BIGNEWY @Flappie are there no bug reports open on terrains being disabled on 8394 dedicated servers?

(I didn't reinstall Sinai, just Afghanistan and Kola)

I don't know if this is related, but the server won't run from the bin/DCS.exe. It will only run from a desktop shortcut, but the shortcut directs to the same DCS.exe so it makes no since for the DCS.exe to not run when bypassing the shortcut.

@Nealius
Seems it can't find the launcher. Does the server even have a launcher? What happens if you disable the launcher in the options.lua?

No change when disabling launcher in options.lua. I don't know what "settings.json" and "launcher.lua" are. Those aren't in my client install either.

Righty. Don't know those files either.

A complete uninstall and reinstall fixed it. Did the moduler server get an update? The old one was "DCS.openbeta_server" but now it's "DCS.dcs_serverrelease," and it creates a second folder "DCS.release_server" with two config files that aren't even used.

Look on the root folder and see if there is an dcs_variant.txt file, and what's in it.

It says "dcs_server.release."
No idea what my older version had since I uninstalled it.
Cool! Then the file would probably have the previous Saved Games name. Just to clarify, if you are not aware. One can use the dcs_variant.txt to force the name of the Saved Games folder.
