Can't fly on this map

I tried almost everything, it's just CTD. 

Could anyone please help? 

Do I need to remove all the mods, maybe? Didn't try that, yet.

Im runing an ageing 5600x with a 10GB 3080 and thr maps runs pretty well. No overclocks, evertthing at stock save for the RAM  XMP type RAM profile to get the RAM up to the advertised 3600.   Id suggest uninstalling the mods and perhaps running a repair. 

EDIT - I only run at 1080P however.

If that doesnt at least get you some stability it may be a hardware thing.

That is always a good idea. I have a no mods DCS install, and Germany does run on my decidedly low end system.

I removed all the mods, no luck. 

I can't even start to fly it, CTD when loading or when I press start. 

There is no issues with all the other maps / games

A 3060 Ti here with 8 GB vram, 3440 * 1440, AMD 3700x - lower middle-class, maybe. Hollywood-gimmicks switched off I'm going > 75 fps in the really demanding F-4F. I tried - one by one - a few selected mods like the A-4, Gripen or the Raphale - a bit lower, but still above 75 on average. I start the mission on ramp or go straight and level for the first one or two minutes - my limited vram shows. The sim-engine needs a long time to arrange itself. Hopefully they are able to optimise the memory-management. I still have some degrees of freedom to reduce demanding details like trees foliage, spawn distance etc - but no need to now. The map is early beta, will change a lot.

I did, scan all files.

Started again, ME, created a simple mission for this map with F16C

Started, I had about 2-3 FPS for a few seconds and than, PC restarted.

RTX 5090, 8k, 32 GB DDR4, mainboard Asus Z690, I9 12900K

As I said, I have no issues with other maps, aircrafts or other games / sims.

Weird, I can't see a folder with this map, inside the Mission Editor.

Should I try, maybe, to uninstall - reinstall the map ?

Check your main DCS folder, Mods/Terrain - there should be a GermanyColdWar folder

I uninstalled and reinstalled the map, did a quick test with the Su27, free flight. It's working, amazing map ( did a short flight, only) 

But no folder inside the Mission Editor 

Could anyone please create a basic mission for this map? 

Just something simple, I just want to see if I can open it 

I created one, it's not loading 100 %

The file I created it's located under all the map folder, inside the Mission Editor

Why don't you post your DCS.log? Just drag and drop it here. It's located in your Saved Games\DCS\log folder. If you have file extensions disabled in Windows File Explorer, it will only show as "DCS", enable file extensions from the view menu first.
As a side note. Uninstall/reinstall are a waste of time. It's much quicker to perform repair as suggested above. However, a repair will not touch Saved Games. If you still have issues after a repair. Temporarily rename your DCS Saved Games folder, and try again. If it then works, the error will we somewhere in the Saved Games folder you renamed. Probably some forgotten mod.

I renamed the Saved Games folder

Started again, Su27, instant action, free flight, Germany Cold War map. 

It's happening always, when I press F10 and back F1 to cockpit, it's freezing. There is nothing I can do. 

I have to restart the PC from the physical button. 

Same when I open then nVidia FPS - Statistics overlay ( I have this issue only with DCS World, any aircraft or map) 

From 60 fps goes to 2 FPS, no matter what I do, I need to reboot the computer. This issue is a bit older, about few mounts, one year....... 

Never happens in any other simulator I play. 

I think I'll completely uninstall DCS and reinstall it again.

I want to back up all the inputs  ( joystick, throttle, pedals) and maybe some liveries, I have a lot. 

Do you think, it's a good idea?

LE : Forgot to mention. 

I have two " bin" folders inside the DCS World folder 

bin and bin-mt ( multi thread, I guess) 

I'm using the bin-mt shortcut, when I start the game.

If you open the launcher, it takes a few seconds until it logged you in. If you are too fast and click on "launch DCS", this message will appear. Give it a more time to log in before starting DCS itself.

I think that is a hardware trouble instead of DCS software one.

Overheated (or insufficient cooling capacity) CPU / GPU / Memory / PSU / Storage etc.
Temperature comes up in the Northern Hemisphere.

It might be, but right now I started the Su27, 2-3 different maps ( Normandy, Kola, South Atlantic) and there are no issues at all. 

Same with different flight / racing simulators. 

If it's a hardware trouble, it should be for everything not only for Germany Cold War map.

Not necessarily. Germany seems to be more demanding than the older maps and system stability issues mostly show under high load.

PCARS 2 for example exposed a lot of unstable systems back in 2017 simply because it was more demanding than all the other racing sims out there.

RTGI ( FM8 ) its very power hungry, I run it with no issues. PC2, almost everything high-ultra, no issues.

Same goes for LMU, AMS2, AC EVO, MSFS 2024, MSFS 2020, XP12, ACC, IL 2 BoS

On Germany map, it crashes without any other aircrafts around, no missions, no clouds, etc....

Please don't tell me, Germany Map is more power hungry than the RTGI.

LE : just did another quick test, I reduced the resolution from 8k to 4k

Have you tried setting preload radius to a different value?

 

Again, please post your DCS.log file. Anything else is just Kaffeesatzlesen as we Germans say.

I just uninstalled DCS World, Saved Games, etc, did some backups before. 

I'll install it again, and see how it works. If there are still issues, I'll upload the DCS. log

@BealdorDoesn't that really work? I thought it was a real science 

@Lenux I had some login issue without using the laucher. Just closed it and restarted DCS, and it was fine. Did you try with another aircraft? Do you have a monitoring software, so you can perhaps see something while in game.

It's loading about 80 % and than nothing happens 

Screen goes black completely, there is nothing I can do 

Only reboot from the physical button 

I'm just speechless, running out of ideas. 

I'm playing DCS World since 2015, never had such issues
