I thought the project was dead...I'm glad I was wrong.

While we wait, video (and audio) of the real thing, from the cockpit of a two-seater. A whole cacophony of angry noises.

The AV8B module is reinstalled. The Darkened Cockpit v2 mod is installed. The new VMA-513 Day and Night skins are also installed. Now I need this awesome sound mod. Then I'm seriously considering picking up the Kerman campaign from GroundPounder while it's on sale.

H**y S**t that was like being stabbed in the ears , should come with a warning before pressing play , not eazy to find decent cockpit recordings of the harrier give that she's been flying for nearly two thirds of a century.

Yup. I'd noticed the same thing. Most likely getting a good recording is tricky, given the levels and the inevitable vibration which is going to mess things up. Even something as simple as microphone placement might alter things dramatically, given how close the pilot (or back seater at least, for the two-seat version) is to the source of the noise.

I do have a plan to get some first hand recordings later in the year from a static gr3 located here in the uk ... we shall see , but the other elephant in the room is the way RAZ coded the sdef's for the cockpit its a mess and somthing wich I can do nothing about.......c.mon Heatblur build us a Harrier....

First of all I'd like to thank you for putting the effort in to make this and to then share.  I have a question however, Will this mod break the IC check?  If so, do you plan to release an IC friendly version?

If it were possible, I'd knight you! It's like night and day. This mod is essential for the 'sense of reality,' in my opinion. It's just a shame the developer didn't manage to make it work...

How to install the mod please?

The downloaded file contains an Installation Guide.

On my case, I opted to install it using a Mod Manager, so that I can easily undo the install if needed, looks like this:
