grim_reaper68 Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Hi I noticed some problems with the HUD display since the 2.9.18.12722 release. As you can see there are some "holes" in the lines.
skywalker22 Posted August 3 Posted August 3 There is nothing wrong with the plane or DCS's code. Mine is fine, there are no spaces in the horizontal lines for the speed, elevation, letters, numbers and some other simbology. FIX; check your game by removing any mod, do the repair thing of the game. My HUD as of today:

Yeah, you need to open the bug report tool for AMD inside the software. 4 hours ago, Red_Camarada said: sorry but the bug still persists in this new version Yeah I tested it yesterday but forgot to post in here. Reverted back but made a bug report first through AMD. 1 My PC: GPU-AMD 6800XT OC / CPU- AMD RYZEN 5800X OC / 32 GB RAM 3200Mhz / 1TB SSD / 2TB HDD / 500GB M.2 / Monitor: 34" Ultrawide Samsung 1000R Curve / WinWing F16EX HOTAS / TM Cougar MFDs / TM TPR Rudder Pedals / TrackIR5 / ICP

I used the function restore to manufacturer options during a repair, which should be a clean install, and the hud bug still persists Edited August 18 by Red_Camarada
grim_reaper68 Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 I uninstalled them completely with Revo Uninstaller and installed the latest version and no more bug.
CarloVecchi Posted Tuesday at 04:58 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:58 AM I can second that bug. Already did an update of the AMD drivers & a clean install.

Yeah not sure what is going on with AA with AMD right now. I just updated the gpu and started using optiscaler. Now Im using DLSS on an AMD card lmao. MSAA is better, but it has less antialiasing... I almost regret my RTX 2070 super OC... TAA does that by default in every game to some degree that has fast movement. Not as noticeable in slow motioned games but games with fast movement you will see ghosting. But it causes ghosting because it is getting information from the previous frame which is not done 100% correctly so you see ghosting. Even people with Nvidia cards will see ghosting. But if you are using FSR, that in DCS, is using FSR1 instead of the latest FSR4. FSR4 will definitely help when we get it but until then I would suggest using Optiscaler. Plenty of videos on how to set it up. That is what I opted to use for the time being and I am not disappointed. Either way though FSR or DLSS will give you some type of clarity loss to some degree especially in fast movement games. MSAA is way better but at a performance cost.
