Dragan Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Hello, can someone help me with NVG settings? I've known for a few years how to increase and decrease the brightness of the view, but I'm wondering if there's a blur setting. I think the view should be clearer than the default.
razo+r Posted August 5 Posted August 5 There is no blur setting. You can however install a mod that should make the vision more clear. 1
Solution aceviper Posted August 5 Solution Posted August 5 (edited) https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3345896/ Try this fantastic mod....but single player only. It breaks integrity check. In all honesty a vast improvement to the in-game ones. Makes night flying much more enjoyable. Hopefully ED add a version of this to the sim in the future. EricJ Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Yeah even years ago it wasn't hard to see with them. I haven't flown at night recently, but NVGs are well... weird sometimes. 1 Homepage | Discord | Linktree | YouTube 'Nearly everyone felt the need to express their views on all wars to me, starting with mine. Dragan Posted August 10 Author Posted August 10 (edited) These NVGs in the A-10 are very bad during a full moon night, I don't know what they are like in the real world, but on full moon nights they are almost useless, I liked the old NVG from the beginning of the DCS A-10C better,The pilot's view was much clearer and was not limited by the circle and with a rather broad view, which is this picture below. EricJ Posted August 10 Posted August 10 I've never worn PVS-15s, mainly 7s and -14s, so it's a bit limited, but usually it is a bit clearer in regards to ambient light, so I would say that this is a bit odd though. PoPoDano Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago These goggles are far more realistic than the full screen NVG. Have you tried adjusting the gain on them? I have to fine tune it depending on the ambient light constantly
