Complete reinstall of Windows and DCS still CDT trying to load a mission

Woah that may have been due to this

 

Turned Virtualization back on but still crashed. The game ran one mission though instead of quitting instantly

The consensus from my PC support it that my CPU needs replacing. Not a big deal for me since I have a free replacement due for my last one that went kaput.

Some games still run fine though so it’s a mixed bag. Hard to say if it’s a DCS problem or the machine.

my system has max 128 GB ram installed. i also have a static 32 GB pagefile. perhaps a placebo. however, i do not have any memory related shortcomings in DCS. it does not hurt anything to have it.

I’ll try it. 
I also get a lot of Blue Screen crashes when the PC really isn’t doing anything though. Not running DCS or any game.

there is another topic going now and i have seen before. is it possible your PSU is having issues or borderline capable for your system? when the PSU "ages" it gets less capable. just a thought.

Well I have a free CPU coming so if that doesn’t work
