Hippo Posted yesterday at 04:47 AM Posted yesterday at 04:47 AM (edited) Two reasons 1. I'd love to have a small, typical, GA aircraft so I can practise that type of flying without having to go to the hassle of installing and configuring that civil simulator. 2. Just to see what the result would be if the bods at ED produced an aircraft of this type, esp the flight model. Dragon1-1 Posted yesterday at 05:46 AM Posted yesterday at 05:46 AM Been suggested time and again. It's unlikely to happen. An O-1E would be nice (basically a Cessna 150 with a different cabin), but even that is probably going to be AI-only, if it's ever added. 2 1

Widely available at all FTOs near you. Only kidding. I was going for something more ab initio. And western. 2 hours ago, Dragon1-1 said: Been suggested time and again. It's unlikely to happen. Which they haven't for quite some time as they keep producing stuff I don't want. 1 System spec: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D @ stock, MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Ventus 3X OC 32 GB DDR7, Gigabyte X870 Gaming X, Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB EXPO (2 x 16GB) DDR5 5300MHz C30, Samsung 980 EVO 500 GB NVME M.2 SSD (system drive), WD Black SN 850X 2TB NVME M.2 SSD (games drive), Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 Evo Cooler, Asus XG43UQ Monitor, Oculus Quest Pro, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder
Darcaem Posted yesterday at 08:25 AM Posted yesterday at 08:25 AM (edited) Wasn't there an april's fools Youtube video about a Cessna being anounced copying the same style as the official F35 official module? I thought it was from Veco Simulations (the ones doing the Talon mod) but either is not published anymore or I'm mistaken. In any case, everytime this is suggested I think for myself that I might buy it just for fun, but I would prefer the fully analog 152 (and seeing how things are turning out with msfs... maybe in some time I cannot fly it there anymore) EDIT: silly my, it was the first video on Veco Simulations' channel (it's at the end of the video, I though it was a standalone video about it, but no) Edited yesterday at 08:29 AM by Darcaem 2

diego999 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Have you tried the OV-10 Bronco mod? It's fantastic. 1
_JMax Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago A Cessna might be fun for learning fundamental proficiency in flight procedures like ILS /Instrument flight etc. but not sure where the Combat part of DCS comes in. 1 Intel I7 13700KF 48GB DDR4 GeForce 4070 Ti 2x1000GB SSD Quest 3 MSI 3440x1440@100hz.
