Lyrode Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Of course a Flanker will be well received, but it will definitely kill Fulcrum sale. And again, it as a fighter doesn't bring more features, since Fulcrum is the Flanker we have at hone. Bomber attacker and interceptors, such as Su-24, Su-25 and Mig25/31 would all bring more to DCS than Su-27, since they fit different roles. Speaking of FF redfor heavy fighter, I consider F-14A 95gr to be the next one. lol

If they go for an Su-27, we probably won't see it for years, and the majority of the Fulcrum sales will be done, and I guess those that already have the Fulcrum will even get the Su-27. Actually, if one is into Redfor, one will get anything and everything Redfor.I do however want an FF Su-25 more that said. Question for more knowledgeable people than me. Could a development of the Su-27 speed up development of J-11 and Su-33? I'm speaking primarily of systems, not graphics and flight model. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk 1

Yes, they share a lot of the Su-27 avionics/systems/weapons. Raven (Elysian Angel) Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Su-33 doesn’t make a lot of sense though: you won’t be able to take off with more than 50% fuel and 2 (or 4 at most) AA missiles. 1 Spoiler Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 96GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo DDR5-6000 | Asus ProArt RTX 4080 Super | ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 990Pro 4TB NMVe | VR: Varjo Aero VPC MT-50CM2 grip on VPForce Rhino with Z-extension | VPC CM3 throttle | VPC CP2 + 3 | FSSB R3L | VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip | Everything mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | VPC R1-Falcon pedals with damper | Pro Flight Trainer Puma OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS graphics settings Win11 Pro 24H2 - VBS/HAGS/Game Mode ON

And here I thought you were an advocate for things that doesn't make sense! Easiest module to AAR though! 1

It's not practical, safe or SOP to launch from the ramp super heavy but it is totally possible, esp. with the WOD help. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 MiG-29A F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

By their pace we may see another ED redfor in, let's say, 4 years. The team is still busy on finishing the fulcrum though. To be fair, as a redfor guy, whatever they cook you'll get it anyways. Now that we have proper SPO-15, N019 and OLS29 modelling, Su-27 seems to be well based. I can't lie Su-27 is my second favorite plane to get in DCS, and do wish to see it in 2026AB, but not like it's happening soon. 1

No new Redfor for a few years then, unless the team that hopefully are working on the upgrade/new free Su-25, is another team. Then perhaps an FF Su-25 might see the day first. Wouldn't bother me at all! Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
