DCS: MiG-29 Fulcrum external fuel tank

Hello everyone, sorry for asking, but i cant find the option for activate external fuel tanks. The CL tank (Pylon7) cant selected only for smokegenerators.

What did i wrong?

Mig29 can carry only one fuel tank (central position)...

OK, but i create a new loadout (clean) and want to use an external tank, but in the clean loadout there is no option to use the pylon number 7 (center)

i have no idea whats going on.

Right click the station and select fuel tank from the drop down list, just like any other option. Just make sure you select the correct pylon.

Or are you trying to edit/overwrite an existing template?

No, i created a new clean loadout - selected the Station 7 with the right mouse button. The only things that i can select are smokelaunchers.

 

i dont overide an existing one. I do this hundered times on and other plane - but in the MiG it will not work.

Thank you for posting this rearm menue pcture. In this picture your centerline is number 4 - in my case its number 7. 

Although see i videos in the last days with a centerlinetank in DCS. It’s not the FC MiG.

Forget previous pic, DCS had loaded the wrong 29 (FC). I've selected the empty loadout, then added the tank...

Thanks again for posting. I will try it tomorrow - is it only possible to load the tank in the rearm menue? Other configurations you could load in the Mission Editor wäre you can change the liveries.

It works in the mission editor as well.

Im sure you have it. Maybe you looked wrong? Or check if I didn't block the hanging (the cross will appear then). There may also be some other unofficial mod that is messing something up, although I doubt it in this case.

The centerline tank is a great design. It is essentially conformal, to the point that below Mach 0.6 it actually reduces drag. Either they didn’t test it supersonic or it has negligible drag at supersonic speed also. Pretty cool

So guys, I think the problem is solved. Whoever in all the MiG 29 Liveries the hook in the “Payload Restriction” menue for the external Tank was unchecked. Checked it on, so that the green hook says its fine - unchecked Payload Restrictions and voila - i can use the external Droptank.
