AG-51_Razor Posted Wednesday at 04:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:33 PM Absolutely beautiful work!! "Hopefully the next update will have more button binds included." After all that effort, I would hope that you'll be able to actually taxi out of a revetment to the runway after the next update. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Hiob Posted Wednesday at 05:44 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:44 PM Awesome! Are the gauges functional? 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

Truly amazing. I am jealous. When I retire I am going to build something similar, although likely the BF-109 or Spitfire. I have 3 questions. 1) How long did it take to build? 2) How difficult is it to get into? My simpit is very basic but it is a challenge to my hips and knees. 3) Does than fan sound more like the real Corsair engine than the sim? 2 PC specs: 9800x3d - rtx5080 FE - 64GB RAM 6000MHz - 2Tb NVME - (for posts before March 2025: 5800x3d - rtx 4070) - VR headsets Quest Pro (Jan 2024-present; Pico 4 March 2023 - March 2024; Rift s June 2020- present). Maps Afghanistan – Channel – Cold War Germany - Kola - Normandy 2 – Persian Gulf - Sinai - Syria - South Atlantic. A bit less than a year, from start to finish, but I just retired so next one should be less. But each one I build I gain experience, and each build is better than the previous, 2) How difficult is it to get into? My simpit is very basic but it is a challenge to my hips and knees. Pretty easy to get into, the sides slide out for easy access. 3) Does than fan sound more like the real Corsair engine than the sim? Lol, currently yes. 5 1

I think I will steal your idea! How do you manage to integrate VR with the cockpit? Do you use pass-through? Or is it more a case of lining up virtual hands with the switches etc? What is your next project? 1 PC specs: 9800x3d - rtx5080 FE - 64GB RAM 6000MHz - 2Tb NVME - (for posts before March 2025: 5800x3d - rtx 4070) - VR headsets Quest Pro (Jan 2024-present; Pico 4 March 2023 - March 2024; Rift s June 2020- present). I align it in CAD when I design it, so it's pretty close to correct locations, I've found it does not need to be exact, it does have some adjustability, but being close works just fine. Currently the F6F will be next. Edited yesterday at 12:22 AM by Panzuur 1

I'm working on a 3D model of the Birdcage Corsair for other purposes and it's so faded it's impossible to read. As for the consoles themselves, is this all 3D printed, or was there some hands-on fabrication involved?
Stevecat Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Jesus, all that work for this plane that can barely hold the nose steady? Ok. That is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Kudos to you. I hope the flight model rises to the level of your detail. You deserve that much.

Yea all the consoles are 3d printed.
