Max107 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Hey guys, As the title says, The moment i connect and get the "connected" message, right after i get the "transfer complete-disconnect" message. what I'm asking is What is the exact thing that causing the bug? i made a .trk file, took off from runway and burned some fuel. i tried to connect twice- same result. be the judge: https://www.filemail.com/d/okmnswmnybfddiq additional info: AAR Door open enough time in advance Fuel is not full or near full No 'unlimited fuel' selected boom connection and flight skills are not the issue the tanked is KC135 and is a "tanker=a" in the mission editor fuel switches set correctly same problem on Syria/Caucasus maps i tried to open/close the AAR door and re-request connection several times tried with different fuel quantities (and even dropped the external tanks - problem continued until i ran out of fuel. Thanks. Edited 5 hours ago by Max107 updated trk link added

It's not about the flying/boom connection not anything obvious that i forgot to do. I'm pretty sure its a bug. what I'm asking is What is the exact thing that causing the bug? Mission info: Single Player, 2 external wing tanks, Syria map, Tanker is orbiting. i don't remember that i had this problem before, it started suddenly with this new mission I've built. i tried to start cold & dark AND air start with the same 'plane'(client) and same result- "refueling complete, disconnect". Now look- in this very mission (same mission file) but with a different client F16 that i air start, also with external wing bags, i don't have this problem! so wth?? Thanks. Which tanker? I've seen that with the KC-10 (I think that's the one) which will put out a basket for the F-18, but isn't functional so you can't get fuel. 1

RyanR Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago You don't have unlimited fuel enabled? The client planes aren't already with 100% fuel? I agree, post a TRK. I wonder if there is a gremlin in your .miz file. -Ryan 1

NytHawk Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago External bags must be depressurized in order to be air refueled. This is done by opening the AAR door several minutes prior to refueling. 1

But I’ve done probably close to fifty AARs in the viper and I usually open the door just before pre contact and I have never experienced not getting full bags. Maybe the time it takes to fill the internals is enough? Although I’m pretty sure Ive started tanking with close to full internals at least a few times. 1
