Lantirn no terrain image

Hi ,

Pilot seat, i have no terrain image at all. I have all settings on: air to ground On, wings swept to bombs, master arm on, GBU12 selected, TID selected, HUD shows "ord"?

I can see all the white markings on the TID, the zone in white too, laser code too BUT no terrain image.

I've played with brightness and contrast too = no result.

I fly with a Pimax Cristal.

Where is the TGP pointing towards? Is it pointing at the ground?

It takes 7 mins (I think) for the laser in the lantirn to warm up from the time you switch to A/G mode. It's blank until just before that, when it says "Not Ready" for a few seconds, and then you get your terrain image.

 

Also, you're talking about things in the HUD, the lantirn doesn't show up in your HUD, it's on the upper screen below your HUD (VDI?).

The lantirn is pointing at my WP through the Jester command WPdes. But i tried several other way to use the TGP ( with eyes, with HUD). I see the white point moving ( TGP position) where i look/ designate for example but no terrain image.

I am already in fly for my test and my TGP is running and visible in my VDI (upper screen). As said before i have all the information relative to the TGP in my VDI ( white markings) but no terrain image even if i've adjusted the contrast and brightness.

I've never had this issue since the last monthes when i try A2G employment with the TGP

If you are in SP, it's a known and long standing bug. In order for Lantirn or TCS for that matter to show something,  you needed to spawn,  exit the plane and spawn in again.  After that, everything is back to normal.

If it works in Jester's TID but not pilot's that's probably what @Lt_Jaeger said - long standing VR bug that shows up for some users and you already heard the workaround.

I've tried several times and nothing change= no terrain image...

What can i do? i have a good computer and i've never had this issue monthes ago (this year)

Start with answering a few questions razor and I asked. Check the Jester seat. Show some screenshots. Upload a short track. Upload your saved games\dcs\dcs.log
