Dragon's version of the Battlefield FX

This can be done by the "RotorKa50Dyn" sound. You will hear this sound in cockpit when the rotors are under stress (making turns / flying high speed). Only problem is to have this exact sound isolated from all other sounds.......

 

Other than this, with the ED sound system as it is today, there is no way to make it all and any situation sound like 100% real. For that the sound system is not versatile enough.

Thanks Frazer.. was thinking along those lines.. :) It would be awesome if we could get that authentic blade flapping sound, but i guess you can't always(and never do) have it all..:music_whistling: No complaints..:smilewink:

Hmm I watched the video and didn´t heard anything thats missing in BS. The Hard Flap sound at the beginning seems to be caused by the reflection of the Street below the chopper.

That popping sound comes from the blade tips running into the vortices created by the blade in front of it. It happens at certain blade pitch angles during certain maneuvers. Well, it's always happening, but you don't normally hear it inside the aircraft. But at certain times, it becomes very apparent inside the cabin. On the Mi-17, it's most noticeable during a descent.

Hey Dragon !

I did not try your new sound BFX yet so I do not know - maybe you already put M 230 Chain Gun noise into your BFX Mod, but you could help me with this:

Im looking for new M 230 Chain Gun noise for the Apache.

The "factory" noise is strange: Ka-50\Sounds\Effects - CannonGround.ogg or CannonNavy.ogg. - aren't a chain gun effect when the Apache is using the Gun :mad:

If you have the sound you want, you can cut and export it as .ogg by useing the program Audacity.

There are a lot of changes in the soundengine.

11 sounds was added and one removed.

Most sounds you can't hear anymore in the cockpit.

 

Maybe I have to remix the sounds of the mod.

 

But first modman have to run. Modman is not able to detect the BS folder structures anymore. :(

Yeah, you have to do a bit handywork. Find the settings in the modman.ini for LockOn 2.0, add the equal settings for DCS in the regestrie and add the entries in the *.ini as well.

Start modman and it works again. Bit short this explanation, but i hope it's understandable.

For the gun, not problem. Sound is ok from the cockpit.

Yes, there are a lot of new bugs now.

 

- You can hear the gun although everythin is muted in the cockpit.

- A SAM launch is muted in the external view. You only can hear the missile engine.

- Bbullits nearly passes by are muted in the external view.

- Waterexplosions are muted in the external view.
