hey all i just instal today win7 and reinstal lock on + flaming cliffs but cant instal patche 1.12 i get mesage "orginal game is not found.Instalation aborted"

any one have any idea

yes its no problem whit runing game its problem whit instal patche

 

k solved i download patche for USA cd version work ok but now nex prob in game clouds are flashing like strobo:/

Have you downloaded the correct patch for the version of Flaming Cliffs that you have?

I can't start Lock On FC.. Patched to 1.12b(rus) and Starforce drivers updated! This is what I get after start LockOn shortcut . This is my rig specification . Windows 7 :cry:...Russian copy of flaming cliffs 2XCD. Please need help. Mаy be there is other Starforce drivers for russian version of lockOn

Ok I traying to start lock on in virtual PC Win XP mode but this is what I get... I dont know to cry or to laugh....:lol: I think Im going crazzy:doh:

The XP-Mode is not intended for simulations or games, but for some special programs, that don't run with the Win7 environment. It might work, yes, but if it does run in XP-mode, it most surely does without - and usually faster.

 

As posted before, be sure to download the right patch. There are many different versions available, for Gold Edition, Boxed Edition, normal CD-Edition, Green, Purple, Silver, ,,, well, whatever... ;)

 

And then make sure to disable Userrights-management and lower the windows-defender-settings.

Windows 7 Xp mode is in no way a viable solution for games. That is not its purpose. Application compatibility is its purpose.

Maybe on w7 there is the same issue as on XP that concerns Regional settings for non-unicode porgrams? I also have Russian 2CD version and I have to use AppLocale:
