Spyros Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I used to play that on my Amiga. There was also an expansion disk with more missions! God forgives... Spyros doesn't.
SVK_Fox Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I remember that game, from that time I love A10. But I also remember that I wasnt able to complete campaign (last mission), where two mig-23 ot mig-27 made some patrol and I wasnt allow to destroy sams ot something like that. I was maybe 15 year ago.
lawndartleo Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Now I feel old... thanks! Don't forget A-10 Cuba, another classic from days of old.
ED Team Groove Posted November 18, 2009 ED Team Posted November 18, 2009 I can still whistle the title melody... Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
topol-m Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Now I feel old... thanks! Don't forget A-10 Cuba, another classic from days of old. Now i feel young for not knowing such games existed  [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Pilotasso Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 A-10 cubas was way way more sophisticated thatn that. Its one of the SIM's that set the standards to compare with. They even did something very brave, they left graphics for second tuning up gameplay first. Nobody follwed this aproach ever again. .
lawndartleo Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I'd be delighted if I gould run A-10 Cuba, today, even. It may even have been marginally more complex than the LOMAC A-10, or at least it's equal. I should dig it out and see what I can do to make it run slow enough. That is what I remember being the death of the game. It became nearly unplayable on newer hardware because it ran too fast.
*Rage* Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I loved A10 Cuba. Played it endlessly..... Strange but for some reason have never even tried the A10 in LOFC. There was definately something magical about A10 Cuba. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.22
VMFA117_Poko Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Oh yeah! A-10 Cuba was kinda similar to Hornet 3.0/Hornet Korea. For those who don't remember Cuba below the youtube link:
weasel75 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Don't forget A-10 Cuba, another classic from days of old. How could anyone forget that one?! ;) Man, compared to A-10 Cuba!, the A-10 in LOMAC felt arcadish (still looking forward to the A-10C!! ;) ) ... don't know what it was, but it just played "fluent" and believable.... and more than once I struggled to get the bird home in one piece :joystick:, great and complex (back then) cockpit, etc.pp. *sigh* basic for translators ...
mikoyan Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 yeah a-10 cuba had a very cool flight model it was like il2. the su-25 was too good to be true also
