Might have to get rFactor since GT Legends does not like Vista 64.

Hmm, didn't notice but this mod does a disc check to ensure that you have GT Legends (the cars are ported [?] from that game)..

eBay here we come..

Funnily enough I don't play rFactor as much as I should because I find it gives me bad habits on the real road lol. It's probably my 2001 FFB steering wheel, who knows.

Too many cowboys. Not enough indians.

Gozr, i was checking your site out yesterday, looking @ this,

haven't tried the GT's, they look nice that's for sure and you seem suitably impressed.

rfactor is a great game/sim, i think it would be far to call it a sim

in the same context we use it to describe ED's games/sims

what about the v8's (v8factor v1.3) do you like them too,

we ran some laps @ Abu Dhabi - Yas Marina circuit tonight.

good to see some of us also enjoy racing

if you serious about driving games fellas... I highly recommend IRACING!

superb feel to the cars..... like the old papyrus games.... well it is made by the legend himself!

I know iRacing. Very professional sim. Real drivers use it as a training platform but...

"As low as $7.50 a month!"

That's the biggest problem - it's not so low to me.

Iracing, looks very impressive and has a highly regarded bloodline,

as i am sure any papyrus fan knows all too well.

and Poko24 is right, it's said to attract a high calibre of racer, including pro's

i have not driven it so i cannot comment or compare it with any substance.

one thing for sure if DK is behind it i am sure it's quality stuff.

not sure what the costs are these days, but i know rfactor is a one off outlay about

as much as flaming cliff and you race forever with almost any car and track.

Iracing may be hard to beat, and you can't blame a guy for protecting his work,

but the turning point for me was when they started clamping down on modding nr2003,

that's when we switched to rfactor, it's built for modding.

if it were up to me we would still be modding nr2003 :) , but moving right along.

rfactor is also starting to get laser scanned tracks,

so far both of them are Aussie circuits, Eastern creek and Oran Park.

which i will shamelessly mention are both in this years OVFS calendar.

if anyone is interested in Aussie v8 racing.

check out: http://ovfs.servegame.com

back in the nr2003 days was the first ever triple screen setup i had ever seen, years before th2go etc.

i created it by having 3 pc's all networked, playing the game on the centre screen,

while the left and right screens were spectating and viewing my drivers cockpit but angled left and right,

once it was all lined up properly it was a real amazing thing at the time, even allowed for bezels

which at the time were about an inch and a half wide per screen :D

and if i remember rightly the screens i had were all different size crt's, ya gotta love it.

so i guess you could say i have been into the multi monitor scene for a while now.

must try and dig up a picture or two to share, laughable these days i am sure.

I cancel what I said. iRacing is worth every penny on it - it's just so good!!! I tried that and I sunk. If you got a good wheel, go for it 'cuz emotions there are not easy to describe

Safety driving pays and there is a lot fair play racing on a track. Best driving sim I have ever played. Realism and quality is similar to Rise of Flight if you catch my thoughts.
