hitman Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Wow PoleCat has a defender stateside. How cute. its not his ass im protecting...you made yourself out to be an idiot, and THATS pretty cute.
mrbinkels Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Wow now I'm an idiot because I have a different opinion than you? The fact remains is PoleCat made an empirical statement that was total bullshit that someone needed to call him on it. I'm not in the tank for FoxNews but a person has to be able to back up such a statement with facts. Which I remind you that you nor him has done. Although the "admit nothing, deny everything & make counter accusations" works well for you. Now if you would like to apologize for calling me an idiot I'll except your apology, but only for a limited time. PoleCat Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 What has FoxNews lied about recently? Turn on the TV (anytime) tune to FOX news and wait 5 seconds to find out. :music_whistling: http://www.104thphoenix.com/
PoleCat Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) name one news station isnt biased in any way. fox is straight up republican, cnn is straight up democratic. every news station has their own agenda, dont be flip about it. biased opinions lead to twisted truths, which are flat out lies. they arent in business to inform you at breakfast btw, they are there to help their agendas. i dont watch news anymore because its disgustful. You are correct that they are all biased but I think FOX news plays far far looser with the truth than any other. Just my opinion. Out Edited March 5, 2010 by PoleCat http://www.104thphoenix.com/

mrbinkels Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) All I asked was to provide one piece of proof about PoleCat's statement, that's all. If it's so easy why don't you do it for me and humor me? The time it takes you to respond back you could of easily discovered something in some search engine. You know your MO is textbook democrat, don't argue about the facts just attempt to berate and insult the opposition. You probably voted for POTUS Obama too. How's that change working for you? hitman Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) i dont vote, and im not either republican or democrat. describe to me how my mo is democratic, i would really like to know. heres a helpful hint to the clueless (such as yourself)...when you watch the news, just remember to listen who properly addresses the president by his title, not by his christian name. would you also like me to write it out with crayons? btw...berating and insulting is something republicans do. democrats cry and wine and defend themselves (somewhat like what your doing now). neither party should ever be elected. Speed Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) I think anyone who falls for either side's BS is a sucker and fool.... they both lie their heads off, and Fox news is no better or worse than CNN, IMO. Best thing you can do is look at the facts, use your common sense, and make your own judgements. Personally, though, I'm afraid right now that the US will simply collapse from extreme debt in the next twenty years or so. It's funny, the one thing both democrats and republicans finally agree overwhelmingly on, that we need to stop this ridiculous spending, and we STILL can't get it done. Pitiful. Here in Europe we have the exact opposite view of GWB. He was in office while the country sinked its own economy, massive deficit, debt, jobs lost, military might decreased, international descredit, its inteligence services plummeted, and other kinds of consecutive disasters in a seemingly perfect storm. Obama came, and gave everybody a sense this superpower to be like a star growing less and less bright internationaly for trading some of its strength over for solving more emergent social, economical and structural problems. In my view it must hurt the locals for their pride but I think sometimes you need to take 1 step backwards before making 2 forward. Edited March 6, 2010 by Pilotasso .
crazysundog Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Very true Pilotasso, sometimes you must take a step backwards...before progress can happen... Anyway, I'm not trying to say one leader is better than the other, but if i wanted to; there are all kinds of silly graphs and stupid surveys to add links to.......the problem with graphs and statistics is they are so easy to manipulate, and manipulation of public opinion is the only way these leaders get elected. 1
monotwix Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 No, the graphs are good. How can I explain this?: The graph of civilised development is the subject of constantly changing society, so it is the acceleration that’s going to go even faster and the appropriate graph would show it. I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
