I hope everyone realises this thread is just a TRASHCAN for our hopes, dreams and wishes, so that the rest of the forum doesnt get spammed with new wish threads all the time. I dont think they pay much attention to what is written in here. This has been written many times before, there are other factors that decide what the next DCS will be, not so much our wishes in this thread.

The only way to lay the 'falcon' ghost to rest is to do DCS:F-16 with a dynamic campaign. I want a WAR to take part in and some amount of smoke and mirrors is quite acceptable to achieve that, (as long as i cant see my own reflection).

 

Then we can move on as a community.

Although some peeps would like that (I'm not one of'em) I don't think that's the direction they are taking. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll stick to the more traditional for DCS CAS/Fighter style aircraft (fixed-wing or rotary).

As for what happens after Black Shark, the team has several aircraft modules currently in development (this could include development of 6 DOF cockpits, avionics or flight dynamics). While the A-10A Suite 2 module will still likely follow the Black Shark, the following aircraft are also now planned for DCS in development at one stage or another:

Why was Falcon 4 so succesful? Because it was a MULTIROLE aircraft!!!

The next aircraft is obviously the F-16. ED already has a contract with the USAF, and the F-16 is the premier multi-roll fighter of the USAF. ED DOES NOT have a contract with the Navy. The Navy flys the Superhornet.

 

The F-16 is a widely recognized aircraft. There is LOADS of information of the F-16 in general, and with the USAF contract....well you get the point.

 

I cannot wait to see an F-16, no matter what the variant.

And I'd honestly be willing to pay far more than 60$ if it would come along with some special features (more AI-Brain, more ME-features, ground crews, etc....). The A-10C is already worth more than 60$!!!
