jason_peters Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 changing it to 0.01 also seems to work --- any other value I get stutters --------- System: i7-8700k @ 4.9GHz; Nvidia RTX 2080ti; 32GB (2 x 16) DDR4 @ 3333Mz Ram; ASUS ROG Strix z370-E; SSD Drive; Oculus Rift-S; Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog
71st_Mastiff Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 yes still no stuters for me. I'm think your AMD and NVIDIA are having issues... Fahhh Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 I doubt the mix of AMD and Nvidia hardware causes the problems. Maybe it's a software/driver related issue. What is more, GTX 4xx series are new on the market, and probably the drivers will need a little bit of time to run flawlessly.
HiJack Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) I run on AMD and Win 64 bit. Tried both nVidia 285 with 2 GB RAM, stutters. Now I run ATI 5870, stutters. It's NOT a AMD / nVidia problem. PS! Thanks for this info sharing! :D PS2! On my system I played around with the ATI Anti Aliasing settings, it helps to put "Application Controlled" but that gives "blury" screens. I hope this new settings helps! Edited June 7, 2010 by HiJack
71st_Mastiff Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Could be AMD as the sim is CPU dependant... I run on AMD and Win 64 bit. Tried both nVidia 285 with 2 GB RAM, stutters. martinistripes Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but I take it this was never resolved. What I'm experiencing isn't about my hardware being capable of high enough FPS, as most the time I've got about 60. It's more about when you're flying low and look out the left or right side at the near ground. It's almost as if the hard drive is being accessed intermittantly. My hard drive's defragged completely and it doesn't matter if I run the sim on high or low settings. It always seems to be there. I'm just curious if it is the drive being accessed and if so, would a solid state drive eliminate it. Valve Index | RTX 4080 (Mobile) | i9-14900HX @ 2.20 GHz | 32GB RAM
Dudester22 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I was about to post a thread about stuttering until I saw this one. Has anyone found a solution to this yet and is there ever going to be another patch for this game?

Went thru whole thread, tried almost everything..the stutters suddenly appear during flight. FPS is great..but stutters..whatever I do...they just keep happening. Very frustrating. This happens on clean maps, only me flying around. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commanding Officer of: 2nd Company 1st financial guard battalion "Mrcine" See our squads here and our .
