interconnection between DCS'Games and Arma2

i had heard rumours that their is some kind of middleware planned to interconnect DCS'games with the arma 2 / vbs 2 engine.

 

is their anything on this rumour?

I wouldn't imagine there is anything to the rumour, sorry. It'd be great, but the challenges of getting two completely different simulation engines working together, would be almost insurmountable IMHO.

I don´t know ArmaAII but hey Flatlander, i own a nice real estate in Bavaria, with incredible views on the Baltic Sea, maybe we can change, for a change? :pilotfly:

The german Bundeswehr has interconnected VBS2 (the military version of ARMAII) with their helicopter full flights and full mission simulators in Bückeburg. There is an article describing this project in the MS&T magazin (http://halldale.com/mst).

Hence, from a pure technical point of view it would also be possible to interconnect ARMAII and DCS if Eagle Dynamics and Bohemia Interactive wanted to do that.

I know you were kidding. But you know what? I think netflix on the abris would be pretty awsome. But not YouTube. I have no doubt someone will come out with some kind of mod for the abris sooner or later (after all I have heard pacman, windows media player, youtube, and a few other ideas for the abris).
