andysim Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 ah yes, again VRS and those talented developers raise the bar.
Steel Jaw Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 ah yes, again VRS and those talented developers raise the bar. Too bad their mount is broken. Pyroflash Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Yes, but on the other hand you can, unlike in DCS, fight anywhere you want around the globe. Albeit in a heavily randomized, not very optimized, and not very detailed environment. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
bart86pl Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 When I was on Win XP my FSX was unflyable - CTD all the time. But all works really really good on Win7 64. With some paywares, FSX can be really enjoyable. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic73792_1.gif [/sIGPIC]
Succellus Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Would it be fun to fly from Europe to USA on a A 10 programing refuelling ? I wonder. Is it fun to take off set autopilot, go sleep, wake up and land....not for me... I prefer a hundred times to wait for DCS improvements than to shell money on civie that fails on A or B right out of the box, because they can t have both. I hope thought this will be fixed someday. Fabri91 Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) It depends, I enjoy such long flights from time to time, but most often I fly short routes which can be flown mostly manually when flying liners, or general aviation...it's different from A-10C for sure, but it can be enjoyable nonetheless, in my opinion! :) Edited July 7, 2011 by Fabri91 OS: Win11 Pro 64bit MB: ASUS B550-I STRIX CPU: AMD R7 5800X GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB RAM: 32GB DDR4 SSD (OS and Sims): Samsung 980 Pro 2TB Accessories: TrackIR5, Virpil WarBRD, Warthog HOTAS Throttle, CH Pedals
monotwix Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 http://192.206.28.84/Website/ANP%20AERONAUTICAL%20INFORMATION.htm This site contains some navigation data which can be used with Google Earth for exploration and planning, the download links for kmz and kml files are invisible and they are located on the right side of each item description. The kml file with FSX airports, NDBs, VORs, can be found on google.com and is hosted on simaviation and avsim I believe. I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
Icarus2 Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 OOTB FSX is butt ugly. With hours of tweaking and lots of frustration (and some good payware) I got it to look like this.
