This thread is full of win. But there is an assumption that you can have too much DCS A-10, which i'm not convinced by reading the answers is possible.

...you wish you could make jokes in this thread about YOUR wife wanting sex and you rather playing A-10C, while you play A-10C and your wife doesnt want sex

:megalol:

This made my day.

Well, I think every father of two daughters in the age of 3 years and 3 month will agree that the wife does not want sex because she is tired of being waked up 3 times a night and feed the baby, and that the father plays DCS A-10 rather than have sex because three female persons in a household is expensive enough.

When you try to trim rudder.. on your truck because the tires are out of alignment.

THEN you get pissed because after realizing you have no rudder trim on your truck, you look over your shoulder to see if there's stabilizer damage...

THEN you wonder about your sanity because you believe you can take it just a little further before you take a break from DCS:A-10.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

When you are a physician like me, and you train your technicians to announce the next patient as "pappa alpha tango on 000 at 12, HOT".

When the young, slim and cute technician turns around to leave the room, you look at her back and think "WHOT"!!!

When the patient is one of the NOLs (nice old ladies) the likes to talk a lot, but nuttin about her medical problem, and you begin to search for an CMS to jam....

When you have to do a biopsy and search for the TGP.

When you have to do a biopsy and search for the TGP.

Shouldn't you be looking for the flight data recorder in there? :D

Edit: Oh shoot, you said biopsy and not autopsy.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

No.

I might be slightly psychotic, but I can differenciate between real and virtual life. At least mostly.

But breast cancer is dark in ultrasound against a light surrounding, so this reminds me of BHOT: "Hit that dark, mean insurgent!!!"

Sobek: concerning your edit: In an autopsy I would search for BRRRRAAAAAINNNNSSS!! Harharharhar! :sly:

You know you been playing DCS A-10C when...You have began wearing diapers so you don't have to press pause to use the bathroom, or you simply sit on a bed-pan while playing.

Or buy a piddle pack and your wife laughs at you. The one someone mentioned about the trackir clip is totally me. I've even answered the door a couple times with the clip on. People just look at me funny, so I look back at them annoyed saying "My jet is over enemy territory. Go away before I drop a JDAM on your ass"... then run back to my pit to keep flying. :joystick:

There are horror stories (especially from U-2 and SR-71 pilots) who had to relieve, but had to stay in the air for several hours. In almost every case they just let it fly (pun intended) and deal with the rash later...

Now that's dedication to your task. I bet there's never been a financial analyst who was forced to do that...

All the more reason why I suspect most future military AC will be unmanned.

On topic: It's time to take a break when the lag from the gau8 is too much. :p

It's a urine bag with suction. There are some aircraft I've worked on that have "relief horns" under the seat. It's simply a funnel connected to a tube with suction created from the bleedair system, that's vented from the bottom of the aircraft. At altitude the urine dissipates before reaching the ground.

We had a complaint from a pilot once that the relief tube was too short. One of our crazier ejection seat mechanics went out and found that the tube was wrapped around a bolt. He corrected it and came back into the hanger and wrote as corrective action "Performed opcheck.. not too short... checks 4.0 with enlisted c#$k". They were still laughing as they told him his punishment.

When you make it to the end of a 20-page thread understanding all of it and laughing at most of it...

And then you realize the time wasted in reading the thread could've been better spent playing.

On the OV-10A's we had Pilot Relief Tubes [same thing you're saying] - we never used them - it was dirty and nasty [no pecker going in there]... Always had a Piddle-Pack available if the time to relieve yourself was absolutely necessary.

Army techs maintained the aircraft right? Hmm... no wonder! :megalol:
