I have painted the target, moved the SPI to center with the TGP (SOI) and fly over the target with my flight path marker lined up with the vertical CCRP line. I always end up just flying over the target with no HUD indications to release the weapons or anything.

Here is a screenshot of my standard setup on this airbase tower. No HUD indications for bomb release, nothing :(

See the little triangles around the reticule? Those are the max min distance marks. You can release anytime between those. In your pic the unwinding hash mark scale is at about the 11 oclock position. Not sure if you have already overflown though, probably. When you line up, the min/max should spread to a wider window. Then as you close in the scale will unwind toward those two marks and when it gets between them, the HUD will change to "Man Rel" or something under where it says m/gbu38 on the left. Meaning weapon is ready for release. Hold the release till its gone and then hit F6 to watch it drop.

That is from my short memory so read the chapter also.

You should see "man rel" above the left-side datablock when within launch window. It's the only indication you'll get and is easily missed.

Keep the weapon release pressed a second or 2. Maybe bring up DSMS page so you can see if the weapon released. :)

Rtm helps but also confuses me more sometimes. Seems to be in different language sometimes. :) nice to get a succinct few step, easy guide, to walk through the procedure sometimes.
