kingneptune117 Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 I have noticed that the text near all the buttons on the left and right sides of the cockpit is not very high res at all, in fact it is blurry. Some of it is actually hard to read. Will this be improved in later versions of the simulator? Blaze Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 I have textures on high and they are very crisp for me. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. swift Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 High res dds cockpit textures are stored in Bazar\A-10C\Model\Textures\A-10C-CPT-TEXTURES.zip, but can't find the lower res to rename/move to high res. Anyone?
Blaze Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 There are no low-res textures. The game converts the size of them in-game by what you set the texture size to in the options menu. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. MadBadMan Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I'm wondering, i have since Beta4 the same prob. but in Beta3 was anything ok. I have 1024 every frame by the In-game Options... Any idea what i can do? I can't read the text by the switches... Thank you and Happy New Year. I wish you all the best in 2011 :-) Gretings MadBadMan Don't worry men, it's just war! 159th_Viper Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 In addition to the high Texture setting, ensure your Mitmap detail level is set to high in your GPU control panel settings. The frame setting only has effect on the MFD's, you can probably downgrade a bit to gain some performance. power5 Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 (edited) Nope, best performance for MFDs is 1024. You get a few FPS by not selecting every frame, but not much. Bucic has a graph showing his testing results someplace. Will see if I can find it.
