BTW, if anyone from DCS is reading this, the Canadian squadrons in the drop down menu should read: 410 SQN COUGAR 425 SQN ALOUETTE 433 SQN PORCUPINE 439 SQN TIGER 441 SQN SILVER FOX You've got too many 433s and a couple of typos ;) So anyway, here's a fictional 439 Squadron A-10C. Actually kind of fitting, since 439 started out as an RCAF Typhoon squadron which flew CAS missions in NW Europe during WWII. W.I.P shots: This is "Fang", 439's mascot, who has graced every aircraft type 439 has flown since the F-86 days. Still need to add a Canadian-style serial number, but I think I'll wait to see how DCS handles the serials in the release version. I'm keeping it as authentic as possible even though the skins are fictional. 433 "Porcupine" 425 "Alouette" 441 "Silver Fox" - 441 has used a checker board motif for almost 60 years. Already have my markings layers ready, and with the new template I can go ahead and change the paint to Canadian camo colours too. Based on the two tone low vis scheme in use by our Hornets: NOTE: Only the forward section of the aircraft has been done in this pic. You can see the colour variation between the new colours and the stock USAF greys where the black CANADA wordmark is painted. I still have to figure out how the numbering system works in this sim so I can (hopefully) add CAF-style serials.
