Guest flavius1
Hi everybody, I just wanted to return a great homage to Knell who makes a splendid work on french planes. Mirage IV was our spearhead, the point of the sword of the French Air Force and I hope to escort it very soon. :icon_supe It's a whole symbol for a frenchy :icon_syda :icon_syda :icon_syda Cheer with you knell and thanks for making us share your passion....... PS: sorry for my formulation, I speak english like a spanish cow.... and google translation too...:(
Trident
2000 is already in game So what? The existing model looks extremely dated by now, especially compared with ED's new models and those contributed by fans. I'm sure they'd gladly accept a good Mirage2000 model (how about a Mirage2000D?), if they aren't already making one themselves.
berkoutskaia
And furthermore, LO only includes the -5F version of the Mirage 2000. There are a few other variants that would really look nice (C and D for starters...). Anyway, the Mirage IV really has its place in LO, because: -it retired only last year, so it's still a recent jet. -it was the ONLY A/C capable of strategic recce -it's beautiful ^^ And considering the awesome job Knell did with the Mirage F1, we can only hope for an equally awesome 3D model of the mirage IV. In Mud I Trust.

pappavis
Ordanance carried by MirageF1's Knell-knell what type and versions of the Mirage F1 are you modelling? Will the weapons payloads be something like a 1970's payload? Will it be able to carry laserguided munitions? Will the air-to-air ordanance be of recent modern versions, or shortrange IR missiles the Matra R-550 Magics? Would it have South African V3B or V3C missiles? Could anyone make a South African Airforce skin, pllleeease? Would the F1 be able to mid air refuelling in lo-mac? met vriendelijke groet, Михель "умный, спортсмен, комсомолетс" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] [TABLE]SPECS: i9-9900K 32gigs RAM, Geforce 2070RTX, Creative XFi Fata1ity, TIR5, Valve Index & HP Reverb, HOTAS Warthog, Logitech G933 Headset, 10Tb storage.[/TABLE]

SuperKungFu
Since we heard "rumors" of a new Su-27, i guess no1 has to create a new model for that, but a new F-15 model would be great. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

pappavis
Sweet shot. Were the SAAF F1 equiped with laser range finders under the nose ? I have no factual information available, though, the SAAF mirage F1's were capable of dropping laserguided munitions. Just not sure about the laser range finder. As a side note: The SAAF retrieved a few F1's from storage, then upgraded with MiG-29 engines, and the F1's were adapted to fire R-73's , one example was displayed at MAKS2001 :o. met vriendelijke groet, Михель "умный, спортсмен, комсомолетс" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] [TABLE]SPECS: i9-9900K 32gigs RAM, Geforce 2070RTX, Creative XFi Fata1ity, TIR5, Valve Index & HP Reverb, HOTAS Warthog, Logitech G933 Headset, 10Tb storage.[/TABLE]

MBot
knell, one thing I wondered is how sophisticated the Cyrano IVM radar is in the air-air and air to ground mode is. Does it feature TWS ? And what A-G modes are there; GM, GMT, air-sea ? What did you think about the radar's capabilities in relation to other sysrtems ? You don't have to go into exact numbers, but a expert's opinion would be interesting.
knellknell
I t s not a Doppler radar. So he have limitaitons regarding the doppler radar. But it s a capable radar.... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
