Bahger Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 This looks great. Druid. I've been AFK in Europe for the last 3 weeks but am looking forward to trying this. I haven't played the A-10 Beta for a while, mainly out of frustration over the way B4 wrecked missions I had built in B3. PS: Weren't you the one who (rightly) warned me about not investing a lot of time in Beta mission design?
Druid_ Posted February 14, 2011 Author Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) PS: Weren't you the one who (rightly) warned me about not investing a lot of time in Beta mission design? Yep your right, I was. Had a week off work sick and started playing with ME (as you do) mainly to check out the new functionality and give ED a hard time over those features that didn't work correctly (seems like very little feedback or anything for that matter from ED when it comes to the ME). Anyway in the process a mission came together. Hope you enjoy it, feedback appreciated. Zenra Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Updated to final release version. 6 player MP to follow shortly. Great work, Druid, and awesome job on the support materials. goldfinger35 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 (edited) Hmm. My wingman gets stuck at beginning of the mission: Edit: fixed it by moving c-17 further away so they land after me and my wingman takeoff. goldfinger35 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Did you try asking for assistance from the F-15s on UHF F10(Other) ? If you get no responce by the way its because they're both shot down, in which case good luck hiding. I did not see CAP Uzi52 at F10 radio? There was only Tusk at F10. F-15c's automatically engaged. i7 920@4.0Ghz, 12 GB RAM, ATI 4890, LG L246WHX@1920x1200, Saitek X52 Pro, Saitek pro flight rudder pedals, TrackIR4, Audigy 2ZS, Logitech G9x, Vista 64bit.
Druid_ Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 In order to reduce the Radio Items clutter, the F15 assist radio items are only added once you enter into low level. You will only need them if they decide not to engage for some reason or they head in yr direction when you ingresssing at low-level to tgt1. The aircraft ground movement AI should be fixed in next patch, thankfully! It all depends when you start taxying out. If C17 is landing hold position for now. i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q
gmohr Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Talisker is good malt! Just sayin... "The defense dept regrets to inform you that your sons are dead because they were stupid..." :bomb: System: i5 2500K @ 4.7, AMD 6950 (unlocked), HP ZR30w, TM Hotas Warthog
Druid_ Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) Aye, that it is laddie. If you like your malts then you might like Op Lagavulin which is aging in the cask waiting for patch 0.9 to be released. EDIT: Unfortunately patch 1.1.09 removed an awful lot of lua script capability which was used extensively throughout of Op Lagavulin. I believe this will be remedied in the next patch 1.1.10 so rather than hack it to poeces I will sit on it until the next patch. I hope its worth the wait. kingneptune117 Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 talisker single player keeps crashing on me about halfway to rv1. same spot every time i get a CTD. Druid_ Posted July 21, 2011 Author Posted July 21, 2011 Strange, well there's been around 270 downloads of it & it was written some time ago so I am assuming you are the only one. Sorry thats not much help but I can see no reason why it would CTD. I am not running any scripts in this mission & very little happens prior to RV1. There is only 1 moving trigger around Tusk flight in fact iirc. Doesn't crash for me but if enough people are having same problem then I will re-package it for patch 09 (whenever that occurs). i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q
Druid_ Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 Updated the Multiplayer version. Increased performance through updated features of ME and made some enhancements to mission. This mission is best suited to all players in pit at start rather than a join in progress. Any feedback, +ve or -ve welcome. D_ (p.s. Op Lagavulin is also being rewritten for 09). i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q
Charlie_01 Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Op Lagavulin has been already released or it will do?
Druid_ Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 (edited) I can prob release Op Lagavullin now for anyone running patch 08. It was ready when 09 was released which completely nerfed it as it had lots of lua in it (game LOAD/SAVE menus etc..). I am in the process of removing all lua and as a result adding triggers and trgigger conditions etc which is a lot more work than doing it in lua code. Anyway, it was about 4+ hrs long so might chop it up and release it as a campaign. Will get there soon ..hopefully Edited October 9, 2011 by Druid_ i7-7700K : 16Gb DDR4 2800 Mhz : Asus Mobo : 2TB HDD : Intel 520 SSD 240gb : RTX 2080ti: Win10 64pro : Dx10 : TrackiR4 : TM Warthog : ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q
awdrgyjo Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 looks great, will it run on the patched version, 1.1.1, thanks.
