Looks good. The Eng L backlight has blown on mine and I really cbf returning it for a blown LED, figured it's only a matter of time before one or more goes. The latest version will allow me to switch the backlight off completely and not be bothered by it.

It should stay off. I powered up my rig right now and it´s off like it was set yesterday. Configured it at the main page.

I've installed target for the first time and after creating a simple configuration,

it broke my dcs controls settings:

the rudder and yoke have been merged into a virtual joystick whose functions are not assigned anymore to the hotas submenu of the controls page.

I should reassign all buttons and axis but believe something must be wrong right?

I assumed dcsa10c is designed to run the TM warthog with target installed plug and play, hassle free right?

THanks for any delucidation

weird, mine come back after reboot or even if i unplug and plug in back it back again

Try to use the firmware update util and check if the firmware is outdated. It may solve it.

joystick: firmware 11 19/1/2011

throttle: firmware 20 20/1/2011

i've tried to call TM tech support and sadly i waited for 72 minutes and it keeps saying im first in line and next available rep will be with me, but no answer

DCS is set up to run without TARGET.

It has predefined mappings for the "hotas warthog joystick" and "hotas warthog throttle". When you execute a TARGET configuration, as you've noticed, those two devices get replaced by the combined controller, for which DCS has no default setup.

No need to uninstall target...nothing's broken...just if you want the standard DCS mappings, you need to halt the TARGET profile.

There's no easy way to do 1-2 things in TARGET and leave the rest of the stock functions in place.

When you plug in the throttle, the 5 LEDs will turn on until the device does its USB handshaking, then they turn off. (With latest firmware - earlier firmware they stayed on).

The main body LEDs are off until handshaking is completed, then they turn on.

When you use TARGET to change the on/off/brightness states, that only remains until the throttle loses power (ie power off reboot or unplug / replug).

There is no (to the best of my knowledge) way to "save" the LED configuration on the throttle or adjust the brightness without using TARGET (unlike the MFD panels which will let you tweak the brightness using the buttons)
