Not trying say anything about you, but why can't i find any pictures, vids, or reviews about this thing? The only pictures even are all CAD graphics.

 

Please take pictures/vid of your TFS3 so we can see what it looks like in action.

 

Just seems odd, that even google doesn't have any pictures or videos of even the TFS2, much less the 3.

Yeah, i read the forums. I think I'll wait for this to be in Best Buy and then go for it.

Turk the cad pics are exactly what it looks like, a black box & a seat cushion. if you see it in action you will get no idea as you need to feel it.

I've had mine for awhile now and I've owned a TFS2 for years. It is an outstanding device for driving sims. I am not overly impressed with it as a helo flight sim device. No way in hell I am disabling export to use it.

The TFS2 is yesterday. The new upgraded device is the TFS3. Once there is native intellivibe support there will be no need to enable exports. I think you meant "no way in hell am I enabling exports" right?

 

There will be a proper helicopter handler for TFS3 as well.

 

This product has vision. It is every bit as forward thinking as a good HOTAS or TIR. In fact there is nothing else that comes close.

Smil you dont have to disable exports if you like me have helios or similar just use the export for that and put intellivibe true in the config.lua it works fine.I have renamed the export.lua that comes from vrf toVRFExportA10.lua & same but with BS2 for KA50. as for TARS. and put it in the export folder, so i have class.lua ..config.lua..export.lua..TARSExport.lua..vector.lua & VRFExport.lua..in my EXPORT FOLDER. hope this helps mate..

You will have a very long wait...I doubt they will ever have it in stock, just like you can not buy a TIR there, it doesn't make it any less of a desirable and outstanding device and people will still purchase it.;)

Think of it as "exclusive".

Well polecat, as he apparently has no trouble contacting you, perhaps you may like to pass on my frustration on having all queries (and payment attempts) ignored. If he is really genuine and as great as you say he is, the simple matter of allowing me to post on the ivibe forum to air my concerns should be easily initiated within the next few days. Ask him if would be too much to ask that Dstevenb be given full web access to the ivibe forum. And please pass on my sincerest apologies for giving up so soon after only 1 year of trying to constantly get in touch with him. I promise I will try better from now on.

 

I really really hope I have to make a huge apology on here and ivibe because of my misunderstanding the situation.

The motors are powered by the controller box which uses AC power. USB is used fro communication with the PC.

1 With the latest TFS3 is the product compatable with win7 x64 bit os

2 As I only use Flight simulator acceleration is TFS3 compatable with this .

3 Ive noticed that there is a new control panel v 1.7 out will this be flashed into the control panels before dispatch of units.

4 Last but not least is there a decent manual out for this unit not something thats double dutch and its only worth wiping me ass with ,can a manual be downloaded somewere for the TFS3.

I must read this thread to see what you are talking about. My interest was raised when I read all 6 powerful motors were powered off the usb.

 

If an 80 milliamp motor at 5V is powerful then yes it would seem possible :)

 

 

edit. Just looked at the website, the power would seem to come from a wall power supply making the motors no doubt a lot more powerful than possible over the usb port.

one thing i should mention is if you are ordering from uk dont forget to allow for the VATMAN to get his wack, this delays delivery til parcel farce has sent you a letter and got paid i think it was about £15 for each of them so add on £30ish

Yes, quite right sorry. The usb port is used for communication with the PC only and the actuators are driven by the controller box which uses AC power.

They are not in high volume production. It is still a beta product. Although buying now, he provides free upgrades that are made. But even then, they can take a while to make it to you.

They are ready to ship but still in the early rollout and release candidate testing phases.

 

If you order them they will come.

 

As to the upgrades I purchased mine over four years ago as the TFS2. I have recieved every upgrade since absolutely free of charge. Who else does that? Completely new controller for TFS3 for free not a TFS2 version upgrade.

 

They can be slow responding but they are only two people trying to make a go of it. The TFS3 is a device with incredible potential for our genre and worth the cost of admission twice over even at this early stage IMHO.

I got mine in about 10 days around a fortnight ago no probs and all trackable on usps website.

 

I ordered online with no problems,

 

mine is the tfs3 and is absolutly great you just start the interface pick a profile and play your game, you can even open the separate interface windows to adjust on the fly, easier if you have 2 monitors.
