sobek Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 (edited) I'll bet you that cheaf of security at London underground isn't laughing. C'mon, the guy obviously has mental health issues. Edit: Gadaffi, not the guy in London. Edited July 3, 2011 by sobek Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Jona33 Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 "We come like locusts" And we'll be waiting with the Crop-Dusters...... That's where ed got the AT-802U from. Anyway. couple of video's about RAF over Libya. http://www.bbc.co.uk/search/?q=Libya%20RAF EDIT: It's only one. They've got the same vid twice. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
USAF77 Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 i think the article said it all , Qaddafi fall is a question of days , in the worst scenario matter of few months . he has no supplies and now is pulled in many directions . the ICC procedure is the last door that was a time remained open that now closes I remember hearing the same about Saddam. Westerners just dont understand factional tribal war. Whatever happens I'll never understand what were doing there. We only import 3% of our oil from Libya. Europe gets 85% of Libyan oil sold, most of all Italy and France. As well as having the biggest investments in Libyan oil infrastructure. We already account for 75% of NATO's defense budget. The Euro members are planning to slash their defense budgets even more in coming years, "not that most of them are spending a dime on Libya anyway let alone fighting." All Mr. Q has to do is survive. Eventually Americans and Brits will wake up and figure they are suckers for financing this expensive and illegal war and that will be it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Lead, Follow, or get out of the way"

Pilotasso Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I don't understand why we just don't use the oil we have here, bring back low gas prices. production declined since the 80's apparently because so did the easy-to access oil. .

jpm1 Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) my mother is moving out and i'm helping her a bit . i didn't followed the news concerning Lybia recently , but at only news i managed to see , Gaddafi position was unenviable , seems the rebels managed to completly surround Tripoli . saw another news that i couldn't verify too , i heard a huge explosion happened on a Cyprus airbase killing 12 . don't know if it's linked to Lybia .? Edit : Cyprus airbase (huge) explosion seems to have been caused by a weapons storage that was not operated correctly Edited July 11, 2011 by jpm1 SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
USAF77 Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 I didnt exactly see any conflict it was involved in, tho a pretty video non-the-less. Ive personally always been a fan of the French fighter industry, most of all the Mirage series. Im just fond of their lines. And at a time of global economic crisis and reduced warplane puchases how lucky we all were to get such a splendid little, cant lose, reality air show in Libya to woo perspective INTL buyers of fighters and Jabos. Even the Swedes are there with their Gripens. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Lead, Follow, or get out of the way"
eurofor Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 It seems the only thing Gaddafi is able to do to Europe is send more immigrants. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-14103752 "(...) But another man hinted that he had been put aboard by the Libyan government. It was also strange that everyone we spoke to denied they had paid any money for the crossing. It is possible that the migrants are now being encouraged to leave Libya, so fulfilling Gaddafi's threat to "unleash an unprecedented wave of illegal immigration" into Europe. (...)" jpm1 Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zY4NHDuEgiQ rebels are now inside Tripoli , and some rumors tell Gaddhafi may have already fled to his native village where if this is confirmed , he could be more vulnerable than ever SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Jona33 Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 "Rebels said that after a night of heavy fighting, they controlled a handful of city neighbourhoods. But whether they hold on could depend on the speed with which the rebels elsewhere reach Tripoli." Quote taken from Reuters. Interesting but could be exaggeration. HMS Albion or Ocean pic attached with Apache's on board. Been deployed in the med for a while now I think. Thanks Thaiscom for posting photo in wish list thread. Edit: Another interesting quote. 20km. Taking that town is confirmed on BBC. "Rebel fighters returning from the front line said they they had taken the town of Jaddaim and that they were now about 20 km from Tripoli and approaching the city's outlying western suburb of Janzour." Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
Jona33 Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Operation Mermaid Dawn has been launched. Think that's about getting Gaddafi out. Rebels seized elite military base, rebels have reached west side of Tripoli. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
jpm1 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 seems things are accelerating right now . seems rebels now control almost all of Tripoli , they controlled only a district few hours ago . most important they captured Saïf-al-islam . don't know if we can talk of victory but at last there's the smell of it . Gaddhafi still calling the people to take the arms , some things are definitly out of my range http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8390035/Libya-Live.html http://rt.com/news/tripoli-fights-rebels-shooting-546/ SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
