Nate--IRL--
Goof grief, am I the only one that doesn't want these eye candy features... At least not yet... How about fixing the known bugs first???? You seem to think these things are mutually exclusive. They are not. flydragon126
I wonder why ED doesn't include arms and legs in such a high detail cockpit.
Cougar12dk
I believe this was discussed earlier and the reason is, that the arms and legs would obscure the view of buttons, if you're not using TIR. And, as opposed to real life, you can't move the arms and legs to gain view of the area you want to see.
nemises
Heheh I know, just hoping to pull some of those programmers that are making things all nice and pretty over to the poor slaves that have to fix the code ;-) Well, no worries I figured... To elaborate a bit.... the In cockpit self shadowing is a happy by-product of a greater change going into the engine, which will have knock on effects as a whole. ...+ the guys doing the modelling and shaders are unlikely to be compiling AI code now are they ? ;)
BKLronin
That was a feature that came with DirectX 10 preview in FSX. Does the shadows mean you began to implement DX10 into DCS ? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
